Lets face it, Clemens was classy because he knows sooner or later, its going to be his job...Does he think he should be the starter? I dont know, but I tell you he is damn sure he is able to be a very capable QB in the NFL...which is why he doesnt mind sitting the bench until its time....he owes it to Pennington for all the knowledge he passes on

You guys are so ridiculous w/ the helmet wearing thing. NOBODY has made a big eal of this except the few w/ te anti-Chad agenda. The guy isn't used to being dressed and sitting out, he was antsy. If he sat back and had the hat on looking like he didn't want to play you guys would have criticized him for tha as well.

Kellen was wearing his helmet for most of the game yesterday, does this mean he wasn't classy?

You do realize the backup wears his helmet so he can hear the plays in his headset, right?

    Nice try.

Clemens was not wearing a helmet yesterday and Steve McNair was not wearing a helmet the week before in Blatimore.

I'm really impressed with Clemens' attitude.

I think he's going to be really good, maybe not a pro bowler, but really good.

    I'm excited.

he wasn't? i guess we had another #11 that looked just like kellen wearing a helmet. He did take it off for a few mins but I paid attention and he wore it most of the game but I bet Clemens did it in a classy way unlike Chad?

Assuming he wore it, and I can't find cutaways that have it on his head although I've looked. He certainly didn't stand there with the ball under his arm the whole game.

Leave him alone, he was probably in a rush to make the school bus.

OK now you need a ball to be unclassy. I got it:rofl:

Neither one of them were unclassy, we all know what a class act Chad is and Clemens is learning from him and appears to have some similar qualities. There as nothign to Chad wearing a helmet or holding a ball.

No, you have to flip the ball up and down. Holding it is ok, as long as the chin strap is unbuttoned. If the chin strap is buttoned and you're flipping the ball, that's no class and you'll likely be traded to Chicago.

That's what I love about this board--only here can there be two pages on the meaning of wearing one's helmet on the sidelines.
