My guess is that you'll still be a SOJF if we do. The team? Not so much.

"We didnt try.." "Never created a game plan..."

For Cincy's comments this week I have to defer to my grandfather who always said...."Excuses are like assholes...everyone has one"

They had Carson Palmer in for 3 quarters, along with most of their starters. If they weren't trying to win the game then they were taking a huge risk. Either way, the Jets are the better team. It will not be as lopsided but the Bengals are not going to have anywhere near the success they are expecting.

The Jets might lose this game, that is a possibility. They will not win 37-0, but neither will the Bengals. It's gonna be a close grind it out game with both teams likely scoring in the teens. If either team expects anything different they're crazy..

Agreed...I think it comes down to special teams...a missed FG...big punt or kick off return setting up a score. Its going to be a nail biter till the end.

We were right in the game when the Colts pulled Manning.

We were up at least 27-0 when the Bengals started pulling starters. With the Pats loss the Bengals had a better chance to get a home game in the AFCC with a win over the Jets and the 3 seed.

I too am terribly sick of hearing the lay down BS this week.

I doubt the Bengals were terribly concerned with playing for the possible home field advantage in the AFC Championship game in the unlikeliest of scenarios that one of the two other teams playing in the opening weekend would make it there with them, and not the Colts or the Chargers.

I don't think they laid down, or blew the game off, but I thought it was rather obvious winning the game simply wasn't a priority.

37-0 Didn't seem to convince anybody last week. So let's do it again. How sweet it would be to shut them out a second time in their own stadium.

This is the part that gets me. How many actual NFL teams would be happy with that?

Cincy tanked the game. Deal with it. And you deal with it by winning tomorrow. If you lose, you prove that they tanked. So here is big mouth Rex's chance to back something up. For once.
