My my my, I'm embarrassed to call myself a Jet fan. I can't get through an entire post without somebody revealing how immature the majority of the members on here are. I come here for news on this team only to find out that most of you have an agenda that matches most of the beat writers. SLANDER and HATRED. Are you hateful because of their salaries? Maybe it's just for the attention? I find myself laughing at how some of you spend you're only free time bitching about players and other forum members opinion. This board used to be the highlight of my day, now I find myself avoiding this forum like it is a Manish wikileak article. I am not saying we have to blow sunshine up each others rear's, but when a guy has a good game call it that. Take the Hate out on your old lady, your kids, maybe the dog. Hill has shown improvement and anyone who can't see that knows nothing about football and should delete their account before proving it further.

I couldn't care less how many fans or critics harp all over Hill for rookie mistakes last season as far as drops go (as if every rookie doesn't make mistakes) and/or how many times he's looked like a second year player during our current preseason... This kid is a true talent with a world of ability and potential. By the time next season comes around Stephen Hill could be another house hold name out of GT. His potential and physcial ability as an outside wide receiver is something that I look forward to moving forward as a fan. You will not find a faster WR at 6'4/215 and his leaping/jumping ability is also second to none. It's also rare to find outside WR's who run block as strong and physical as Hill does on the outside coming out of college as well. As Hill continues to develop his route running ability under Sanjay Lal along with his hands due to playing time and NFL experience gained, he's going to without question develop into an animal of an NFL wide out. The only thing that'll stop Hill from developing into a force of a number one wide receiver is injury. Which is why it's disheartening to see fans mocking his preseason injury and/or harping all over rookie drops from last season.

It was a joke. I'm not hateful towards Hill, but I'll surely make a joke about a player that makes a stupid play on any team.

Until Hill shows proper technique in catching the ball with his hands and not against his body he will continue to have way too many drops for an NFL calibre WR.

True dat homey. I checked in last night and 9 out of the top 10 threads on page one were permutations of the Geno/Sanchez/Simms/McElroy sucks argument. Why bother?

It's a football message board. Reactionary opinions, harsh criticisms, and biting humor are all par for the course. Remember, this is all a form of entertainment. So, do us all a favor and rid yourself of the preachy, sanctimonious, holier-than-thou bullshit. No lectures, please. Ok?

My sentiments exactly. He has shown significant improvements, and all he gets is crap from some so called fans. I'm sure they are all perfect at what they do, never making a mistake in their profession and daily lives.

Anyone that rejoices on a player injury or takes cheap shots at a medical condition is far from being a fan.

I'm far from preaching and didn't single out one person. I am just looking for a little more objectivity and maybe a little kindness toward others trying to unwind from their day. If someone pissed in my cornflakes I wouldn't insist you taste it. GUILTY CONSCIOUS MAYBE!!! I know how to caps lock also but didn't feel it was necessary or appropriate. Enjoy the rest of your day and thanks for the response.

you mean the bristol clown community college network , that knuckled under to the nfl in withdrawing from a forthcoming documentary about head injuries?

seems ol roger dodger implied that the next contract bidding might possibly result in that network becoming the invisible man.

yea, that network has a lot of guts..........

    Nonsense.

Nope. I wasn't even one of the people who made a joke about Hill. I just particularly detest phony, sanctimonious bullshit, and as a result, enjoy ridiculing people who engage in it.

I'm not sure how this was relevant to the discussion at hand, considering the fact that I didn't use caps-lock for a single word in my original post.
