CIMINI: Jets expected to pursue Massaquoi

Massacrap is more like it. Who's next, brian robiskie? Another Scotty McKnight / Logan Payne / Patrick Turner / Jason Hill re-signing?

 

I think we're gonna wait for the draft and to see who gets cut by other teqms during tc.

 

I don't hate MM but feel like we can do better in the draft or with other available players.

 

So far, we have Santonio Holmes, Jeremy Kerley, Stephen Hill, Clyde Gates penciled in the active roster. We should look at drafting another WR (Kid from Clemson with our 2nd rounder). MM I guess wouldn't be too bad right?

 

Damn we are terrible at signing FA wideouts.

 

Austin, Patterson, or Hopkins would all make great additions to the roster.

Personally, I'd love to see Edwards back as well. I think a Holmes, Edwards, Draft Pick, Kerley, Hill receiving core would be solid.

 

Hopkins from Clemson most likely will not be there in 2nd. If he is and we are looking to take a receiver, Than we should take him. He's good.

 

Rather have Braylon back, he wants to be here and will come cheaper. BE has a better chance of resurecting his career than this guy does of even establishing himself. MM couldnt hold BE's jock...dont waste money we dont have

You get those occasional players that just play good for a certain team and Edwards is one of them. As long as you are not counting on him being your number 1, this is a no brainer money wise too.

As long as he is playing for a contract (a year a time would be wise) and playing for the Jets..he gives you 60+ receptions. He just is a good Jet. I would do that before bringing in anyone else for depth.
