    Since Rex Ryan took over in '09, the #Jets have rushed for 11,000+ yds, 3rd-highest total -- without a true burner. That changes with CJ.

    Agree. CJ brings a similar skill set but at a higher level. Goodson looked very explosive in his brief stint last season but he's probably not worth the headaches at this point. My guess is they keep him on until we get through preseason with the other three backs healthy.

    Absolutely. When have we had a breakaway element in the backfield like this? Been a while. Give me Ebron, Cooks or Beckham in the first round and this could have the makings of a fun to watch offense. All the faith in the world in Marty to use our weapons. This signing just made Decker and whoever is at the other starting spot a hell of a lot more effective.

    I want to see some single back 3 WR sets with Kerley in the slot and CJ in the backfield.

    It is really hard to imagine that we are in the midst of having a playmaking offense. We've been devoid of one for so long that it almost feels too good to be true!!

    I think Marty is gonna have some fun with these guys.

    Chris Johnson's longest run last year was 30 yards. His receiving long was 66 though

    Nice. I see that Idzik has a certain vision for this offense. Ground and Pound (or may be Thunder and Lightning) is back! And Geno/Vick can run too!

    Question to anyone who knows CJ well/has watched most of his career. What is competitiveness like on the field and how about his dedication to football? I honestly just don't have any idea.
