The first time I ever saw this kid play was his bowl game this past year. He seemed to be two steps and two thoughts ahead of everyone on defense. Understanding that DMC is clearly the better player, I see alot of intangibles that are very similar between the two, the greatest being home run hitter speed.
Leon Washinton is a great back and I really think what held him back was not really being able to run the screens properly since chad was the king of them, he is more of our change of pace back and third down back.... but this kid Chris Johnson seemed to make people miss in tight quarters and for a team who has semi problems with the line not counting this year to come.. we need somebody who can manuever and make plays out of nothing.. Thomas Jones is a great back and got us 1000yds this year but who can you blame for his 1 TD this year!!!!
If we draft Gholston, we should take a look at Johnson in the 2nd. He can play some slot for us as well, and give us that deep threat.

In Conference USA, maybe you forgot but Leon is playing in the NFL The guy is absurdly fast but that is all, He's a scat back and a return man, and we have one of those already, we would have to trade to get him since we don't have a 3rd and we won't be around in the 4th. This guy will not be drafted by the Jets.
