The Jets have been relevant for the past decade.

The only 2 4-12 seasons were due to injury riddled rosters.

Dexter is lethal in the open field. I wish we would use him in the slot more. Great change-of-pace return guy too. Plays with a lot of heart.

peyton has at least 5 years left in him even at 35. he rarely gets hits and his best asset is his mind more then anything else. he's never had a cannon arm.

also peyton will pick you apart still no matter who he is throwing to. cassell throws to 1 person mainly and thats bowe and revis will take him out of the game

Perhaps. Will Peyton get hit more as his O-line gets older though? 5 years is a long time.

Cassel has had tunnel vision in the past but since his his surgery he has been amazing. Good reads, good footwork, good accuracy, it's been a complete 180.

We, the Jets, have lost 3 of 4 and the Chiefs are playing good football. Cassell is a top rated QB, they have a true home field advantage and they can run the hell out of the ball. And BTW, we have not been stopping anyone lately. Seems to me, I would rather play the Rams, not the Colts of Chiefs. Seriously, the Chiefs don't have any playoff experience, that's all we have over them.

I htink some of you are under rating the Chiefs a lot. Theyre fuckin fast all over the field. All over. Cassel is legit and Charles can be an absolute nightmare, especially since our defense sucks ass lately.

I mentioned in anotehr thread that they have good young corners as well...Sanchez can make a couple early mistakes and get us behind the 8 ball. Tough game. This Chief team is definitely better than the Bengals last year

Absolutely, but what we've seen with their losses its about shutting down Bowe and focusing on the run game.

The Jets do both extremely well.

The X-factor is the rookie TE Tony Moeaki. He can be a problem. I can see him with a TD catch in the WC game.

I love Moeaki. Great hands. Chiefs will look to test those safeties inside, early & often, bet on it.

Some of those Chiefs fans are completely whacked. They have a thread about what Pryce said on ESPN 1050, about saying he'd rather play Indy than KC, and some nut job goes off about the Jets talking shit. :breakdance:

    Some real inbreds over there.

Between the Jets & Ravens, Chiefs should choose the Jets as opponents. Jets have been inconsistent & right now defense appears to be sliding backwards in performance. That doesn't mean Jets suck but Jets are a team Chiefs fans feel more comfortable facing.

Same way, so many posters on this board would prefer to face Chiefs than Colts.

Personally, I'd rather face Colts. Want to knock out the Colts from playoffs since they eliminated Jets last year.

Or any receivers..or any tight ends..or any RBs that can run out of the backfield.
