I'm convinced that Bill Beelzicheck is either (1) betting on his own team every week or (2) playing fantasy football and he picked everyone on the Pats.
Yeah...if the Jets had the ability to put up 40 to 50 points every week against any team, I don't think any of us would be calling them "classless". It's a professional sport, not little league.
When it is 38-0 at the end of the 3rd quarter, I'd hope that we take our starters out, because it would be insanely stupid to leave them in risking injury, it not only has to do with class but it is common sense, and plus pissing teams off like this could bite you in the end
The Redskins weren't pissed -- After the game, Joe Gibbs said that he didn't have a problem with ANYTHING that the Patriots did today, They were playing football...it will look incredibly stupid if Brady gets injured when they are up by that many points and Belichick leaves him in, but no one is laying a finger on him and he is spreading the ball all over the field and point more and more points up. I'm just saying that if the Jets were as good as the Pats and were beating people up this bad, no one would be complaining...maybe you, but everyone else would most likely be very excited with all of the points.
One team may not be pissed but another team may be, sure it may be all good when he is not injured, but when the game is already over there is no need to have your most valuable player on the field, and honestly I'd rather have my team have some class when destroying an opponent instead of trying to score 50 points with the starters in. Do you know what the Patriots are without Brady? Probably not even a playoff caliber team.
Why don't you stick to cheering when your own QB gets hurt, and leave our's out of it. I think it's sad that people want to see players get seriously hurt just because they wear a different jersey.
Not that I'd root for it but it's a shame guys like Buddy Ryan aren't coaching in the NFL anymore otherwise you'd have him sending guys in there to take 15 yard personal fouls to knock the shit out of Brady. You know they'd go for the head. Next week should be fun though, you got all class in Tony Dungy and you've got no class in Billicheatin. BTW did anybody catch Belly in the press conference yesterday when asked about going for it twice on 4th down with the score 38-0. His answer was like Mumbles from Dick Tracy. "enmehhgjghjgttyut 38-0 gjgttyoiuu." Slowed down it says " I am satan, I have no class and no balls so fuck you NFL"
The last line..The Colts will be one of the few teams the Patriots won't be able to run up the score on. ... Don't bet on it...this is the team that steamrolled the Pats last year when the Pats had a big lead going into the half.... The Colts are an outstanding team......largely the same team as they were last year..... The Pats are an entirely different team....not just personnel-wise......attitude wise. I think if the Colts don't hold the Pats in check in the first half, you will see an ugly feeding frenzy begin, and the Colts could lose by 35 points or more by the end.
The 2007 Patriots are the most entertaining thing to happen to the NFL in a long long time. I almost kind of hope the Giants don't make the Super Bowl, it'd just be embarassing. This team is a pissed off, arrogant wrecking ball and it's an awe inspiring thing to witness. The point spread of the Jets-Pats game in Foxboro is going to look like a college game.
I didn't read this thread but here is food for thought......... Who gives a rats ass if they run up the score. If a team does not like it play better defense. I would kill for a thread about why the Jets ran the score up. However I find it rather difficult to believe that a thread like that would exist because running up the score for the Jets would be 9-3 or something.
If Bill Belichick wants to play Brady in the 4th quarter up by 38 points, if I'm a defensive coordinator, guess what- Brady's going to get blitzed on every pass play and he will be hit late. December 3 Patriots at Ravens Let's see the Patriots pull that shit that day. I'm sure guys like Bart Scott and Ray Lewis are just going to be peachy keen about it.
It has nothing to do with Brady personally. It has everything to do with Belichick and his big fat piece of shit ego. And since he doesn't don a uniform, the next logical person would be the QB. Sorry, I never wish for anyone to get injured, but like I said earlier if Brady happens to get hurt, I won't shed a tear.
I think that'd be my defensive game plan from the coin toss if I was Bob Sutton for the rematch in Foxboro. Not sure the Jets have anyone that can get within 5 yards of him, but I'd like to see them at least try.
Did BB think that the Skins stood a chance of coming back with Jason Campbell when the score was 38-0, if he did then he doesn't think too much of his defense. As far as someone getting hurt its more likely that the Pats (Wilfork, Vrable, Seau, etc.) will put a dirty shot on Manning.
***Big Surprise*** Redskins OC Al Saunders' headset went out during the game. Gee where have we heard this before with a game at Foxboro?
Gentlemen, I have always been a believer in Karma. I've just seen it happen too many times to just write it off as a coincidence. N.E. has been spreading a LOT of bad Karma around and I firmly believe that it will come back (ten times worse) at some point and bite them in the ass. Might not be this season but rest assured, one day, it will happen.
