And at the same time, if he didn't try to stay in, people would say he wasn't tough and he was fragile. Please.

The first photo, that was encouraging. Chad is making the same face he often makes when throwing a football. Concentration, focus.

    That second shot?

It's quite clear...Hehehe. Man, there's nothing I'd like more than to see Chad all dressed up with somewhere to go when the season rolls around. :)

maybe I wouldn't be as concerned if he had used a PINK bowling ball?

Seriously, it's a dumb ass thing to do. I also think if he wanted to toss ONE for the charity he should have done it left handed. I appreciate his desire to do something for someone else, but he also needs to remember his obligations to his contract and his team.

If he had indeed injured himself or in any way slowed down his progress towards playing at 100%, then we'd all be killing him right now. So, if he risked his arm in ANY way, he should be scolded at the very least for taking any chances.

Give the kid a break. It's hard to float a bowling ball.

what did he ever win with his old form? Since 2002 has he really beaten many very good teams with great defenses?

This is not a dumb ass thing to do... it's a NATURAL motion, unlike throwing a baseball or a football. The fact that he is able to bowl is a promising sign. People should learn a little more about the shoulder an rehabilition of shoulder injuries before they just bash away. This means he is getting range of motion back in his shoulder. It also will help build stregnth in the muscles that surround the shoulder, as well as dexterity in the ligaments. Bashing him for bowloing at a charity event is absurd.

I was just saying that if he ends up hurting himself bowling or throwing lawn darts or screwing in a light bulb I'm gonna feel quite f*ckin silly after sticking up for him. :breakdance:

That's what I was thinking...imagine if he hurt himself......

Honestly with so much riding on that shoulder, I don't think it was a good idea to bowl. He honestly should not be doing anything with that arm but thowing footballs.....and how stupid does he look in that second picture down eh........

I read somewhere that the ball he bowled fell short of the pins and was picked off by one of the other bowlers.....
