Help!! On a Dolphins Thread I live near Miami and Hate the Dolphins. There are a few BOZO Dolfans on a thread there who constantly rip the Jets. They say Sanchez is a bust!!! Can you guys help me out there? Look at Ocala Rob and Dubl B. They're morons. Go get 'em Jet Fans!! Make me proud!! It's on Topix.net on a thread titled Vontae Davis Arrest
My 2 cents. Right now Henne is better. He has a better arm, is a better decision maker and is better coached. He is also on a team with much less talent, especially at WR. This is not saying that I think it will stay that way. Henne has some problems as well. The most glaring is that he has zero touch. Nearly every throw I have seen is a fastball. Its a bigger problem on short throws or intermediate over the middle. He also has a low trajectory. Henne is a better runner than advertised, bur not as elusive or the athlete Sanchez is. If they were in the draft together next year, I'd have a hard time picking one over the other. Considering where we play and the team we have right now, I'd lean to Henne. His ball is made to cut through the swamp wind and he is a little further along.
Most accurate statement so far. If I'm not mistaken, they have not used the Wildcat in the last 2 games, that really speaks volumes about his development. :jets:
or the fact that ronnie is on the IR... how the hell can they run a wild cat when the main force of that formation is out... fuck Henne, fuck ronnie, and fuck the dolfags...
Hey you are entitled to your opinion, but while I'm a Jets fan until the day I die, I'm also a football fan, maybe what I should have said was, the fact that they have been winning without running the Wildcat speaks volume about his development. Also my days of hating football teams because they are rivals are over bro, I used to feel that way when I was 15 years old, I'm 40 years old now and I don't have the energy to spend hating anything, especially football teams, that's for kids man. No offense to you or anyone here just MY feelings.
It's amazing how we mature over the years,,,eh?? I feel the same way. Though I find it funny watching my kids have the same reactions I did 30 years ago.....lol
Right now I think Sanchez is lacking in maturity but that will come with more playing time. I like Sanchez in the pocket. He has a good presence but when chased from it, that is where he gets himself in to trouble. Sanchez is more mobile but Henne is more accurate and has a stronger arm, plus he has shown that he can rebound from adversity. Henne had a year to learn behind a great teacher in Pennington and I would give him the edge now. But as Willie pointed out, this will be debated for many years to come. Both have solid futures and this is going to be one helluva rivalry.
Both had 3 interceptions yesterday. Lousy day for both....though at least Henne came back from 3 td's (on the road) . Still blew it in OT with a pick.
I think Henne is making better decisions at this point, thus playing better. He still makes mistakes, but less than Sanchez. Who knows if either of these guys will be anything more than a back-up in a few years.
