Now I can't find it. I'm only coming up with Mehtas dumb ass. I hope that wasn't the source lol If it was, my mistake.
That would be tight tho. We just need a decent #2 guy. I posted before walls/Allen is serviceable but really we'd all like to see walls as the #3 cb and Allen in the safety rotation.
so basically there are no factual reports that the jets or texans have any interest in a transaction involving jonathan joseph ok thanks
I guess paying a guy like Jonathan Joseph $11.25 mil is how you have a 2 win season. Yikes, who wrote up that contract? He's a good corner but that's elite money.
Why would Houston want to trade Joseph, is he no longer an above average corner or something? Kareem Jackson and Brandon Harris are next on the depth chart, they'll probably make a run at fuckin Patterson. Please advise. Edit: contract. Got it.
Bullshit you say...the Jets BETTER NOT be looking to acquire Johnathan Joseph if he has a number like that! $11.25 Mill is elite CB money...and J.J. is NOT elite...hell he is barely in the pretty good category. If the Jets were gonna light a fire to that kind of cash I would have rather had Revis.... Naw....Mehta has been hitting the bong again and I, frankly, don't see that happening.
I wasnt that pissed that Idzik didnt overpay for Davis or DRC..but if he trades for Joseph I will be fuckin livid. Highly doubt he's that stupid though..and if Manish is the only "source" then were safe.
You can't predict trades. Im sure Idzik is working the phones and checking in on players but it's just impossible to predict.
Yeah...it's pretty painful. Now if it were more like $6-$7mill...I'd be on board all day long. Definitely not the $11.25 though...
Why does anyone care what the contract is? They're 21 million under the cap. They aren't gonna approach that this season so what does it matter? Then they cut him or renegotiate.
