Two games against Green Bay I can remember in which the cold was expected to be a factor in favor of the Packers were: 1) the New York Giants playoff victory 23-20 in 2007, temp. -1, wind chill -23. 2) New York Jets, 2006 reg. season victory 38-10 (lopsided), temp. +19, wind chill +2.

If you're a professional, you prepare to play in all conditions.

    Agreed.
And to your point, I emphasize team.
There's a very popular, yet nonsensical misconception in the media & fandom - - that a QBs surrounding players (and coaches too), on all sides of the ball, doesn't matter. A great QB wins games... it's horseshat.
A great QB is the difference, when two teams are relatively evenly-matched, on any given game day.
It's the team that wins games.
That's why I'm less enamored in acquiring AR, than DC, or even Jimmy G.
This Jets team is alot more than a QB away from a Vince, & I'm still questioning whether Saleh is the guy to win here.
While JD has burped on a few picks, & acquisitions, he's accumulated a nice core of young players.
Something we haven't seen here in eons... and I want that to continue.
It makes no sense to me, to prematurely focus on one weakness, at the expense of the rest of the team, & the building of a sustained winning culture... & that's even if AR comes cheap.

Carr presents a rare opportunity to acquire a solid, durable QB that has a bunch of good years left in his tank.
If he's had problems with cold weather, once he moves here, his body will acclimate to the climate.
    It's a none-issue.
