Exactly that was a great game totally fun to watch. We played some great O and some Great D and even had some great special teams play. We are 9 & 5 in first place and are clearly on the cusp of being one of the better mediocre NFL teams.

The Jets are not a bad football team. They have proven they can beat any team in the league (as well as lose to any team in the league). When the O is hot, they are nearly unstoppable (see 1st quarter today, 1st half vs. NE, all game vs TENN, etc.). The D still has a long way to go, but they stepped it up today and ultimately won the game for us. We won a tough divisional game, and swept the bills for the first time since I think 2002? That says something. What happenend the last time we got upset on the west coast? We came home and had an UGLY WIN vs. KC and won by 4 points, what did that start? A 5 game winning streak. We just came off an ugly loss on the west coast vs. the 49ers, and just came back home to get an ugly win over the bills, again by 4 points. Now the winning streak begins, all the way into the playoffs.
We win 1 of the next 2 and we're in the playoffs. Woohoo! I need to make sure I can get back from a quick New Years trip to make a possible Saturday home playoff game. Things are looking groovy for the Jets!

Any references I've made to God not loving the Jets I retract. Today was a matter of Divine intervention. I agree w/ previous posts that a win in this fashion can catalyze a cohesion that has been lacking in the last 2 games. Tighten up D! Blitz!
Damn. My credibility is ruined. I will watch the Jets lose both of the next two games but I will be expecting it and I won't be disappointed. I'll just be watching because, as a loyal Jets fan, that's what I do. But I'm not foolish enough to hope for wins.
