That's a good point, I (and several others)keep referring to the Jets as "we", meanwhile I'll be drinking beer on the couch during the game, not a block or pass made by me. I probably shouldn't get into it so much.
I see two sides here, really quite simple. Some believe actions speak louder than words, do your talking on the field, some say talk is great, talk smack all the time. Neither are wrong, just how they were raised and taught. So why is everyone getting upset at either side? We each have our own way of dealing with situations based on our beliefs. There is no wrong way here, we all want the same thing, to see the Jets win.
No, enjoy the game, but some are getting to point that they are actually taking the field. Is there going to be a riot? LOL
No, I don't want to see the Jets win...I want to see them win and DOMINATE. Total annihilation...Jets world domination. THAT is what I want to see. I want to see a Tom Brady face with a "what the hell just happened" look on it. THAT is what I want to see! Bwaaaaahahahahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaa (I only got 2 hours of sleep last night. Must account for something) lol Peace!!! The Mezz
Absolutley agree'd .... F**K .... The Cheatriots, and Belicheat .... Thier train has left the station, WE are the new sherif in town
Let me remind you guys of the last safety to talk smack to the Patriots. Then..... Hope Kerry knows what he got himself into.....
Blah blah blah. Where's all of this high-on-your-own-nads Pats fan talk about winning by 50 points like we heard 2 seasons ago when Brady was under center. You know there's blood in the water, buddy. Come-uppance is right around the corner. BTW, Anthony Smith wishes he could hold Kerry Rhodes' jock, and your HC agrees.
Maybe people are trying to get fans in the stadium pumped, instead of sitting on their hands like a bunch of pussies waiting for a mistake so they can take out their little SOJs voodoo doll and caress it's pretty green hair? This thread was responding to talk from a Jets player and telling him to shut up. Fuck that wussy crap. Enjoy the ride, don't fear the traffic.
Remind away. The Steelers still field one of the top 10 defenses in the league for several years. It's their defense that has gotten them to a few championships in the last few. This isn't about 1 game or 1 season. This is about bringing an attitude change to the whole organization and their fans. It's gonna take some time for people to appreciate this defense, but it'll come. Right now, everyone is still scared of the big bad Patriots. As long as that feeling is there among our players and our fans, we will always be #2 to them. Simple as that. Something or someone has to change that.
The talk goes along with the attitude change from the soft-spoken whipping boy toward being the bully in the schoolyard. Listen, the game must be played to determine the outcome but all in all we are looking for the physical, gritty, never say die attitude Rex is trying to instill in the Jets and the fan base. I like it so far. Actually loving it. Now to be taken 100% seriously, we have to take out the Pats. Once that happens, the league will take notice and we won't have to talk nearly as much.
There's a HUGE difference between Anthony Smith and Kerry Rhodes, for the record. There's also a huge difference between the '07 Pats and '09 Pats.
No you don't. I don't understand why you must trash other Jets fans because they don't have the same beliefs as you. What makes you special? Because you won the BS Bowl?
