The fact that this team is made up of the mediocre talent is a direct reflection on Tannenbaum and Rex.
Rex came out at the beginning of the season and called this the "best roster he's been around". What does this say about him?
Rex & Tanny dismantled this team over the last 4 seasons trading away or not signing key locker room leaders and higher talented guys, replacing them with lesser talent and locker room cancer.
This organization has shown no evidence that it has any clue what it takes to build a winning organization.
A CONSISTENT team that will compete and contend every year.

We need to cut ties with this CS/FO/ scouting department.

First step should be to bring in a top flight GM, and bring him in NOW, not at seasons end.
Give the guy FULL AND COMPLETE control over everything football related and let him start evaluating this team IMMEDIATLY!

Cut bait with SCOTT PACE THOMAS TEBOW and others who are either too old, too overpriced, or too much of a distraction.

Surround Sanchez with a TOP FLIGHT RB, a legit #2 receiver, and a lineman better then #77( forget his name)

Love him or hate him Sanchez is our guy for at least 2013, LETS GIVE HIM WHAT HE NEEDS TO SUCCEED!
We will have $, we can turn this thing around, but not without a thorough house cleaning.

RR deserves a chance with a different QB or with a retooled OL/RBs. Firing him after this year would be a mistake imo.

I don't know, man, but his face in that last game pretty much tells us his ship is sinking and all the fucking bums on this team really don't care if it does.

I like Rex, but Tannebaum is just going to his ass fired.

I had this vision where Rex is with the Raiders and it has them winning titles. Boy, would that burn my ass.

How do you see him getting control of a locker room full of anonymous sources?

Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me.

If youre cleaning house completely, youre getting rid of one of the worst QB in football in Mark Sanchez as well. Regardless of the cap hit, if a rebuild is in full force next year, no way in hell is Suckchez back next year.

No. HE doesn't have the character to do it. Too bad because I like the guy... but I think he's going to lose this team just like last year.

We need a guy like Jim Harbaugh, tough as shit... Rex is full of shit by ALWAYS defending each and every payer.

This is the usual end for "player's coaches". I don't think Rex can fix this because he really doesn't know how to address the root causes of the problem. His teams may have made the AFCCG games two years running but honestly, did they play their best game in either appearance? Were they prepared as they should have been? Did the Jets rise to the occasions? The sad answer is NO.

Sadly, what we have is a mirage of what could have been. We have a coach with a big personality without the means to back it up. This team took their lead from their coach and started writing checks with their mouths that their asses couldn't cover. They have a losing record since the 2nd AFCCG Loss. I read it was 11-14 someplace.

Woody Johnson is also getting a bit sick of this too and that doesn't bode well for this CS or the FO. I think Woody is finally understanding that solid organizations don't have a problem with attendance or swag sales. Staying with the same plan although it's trending downwards for the sake of continuity doesn't work here because we have no reference point like the Steelers have. Once we find a organizational system that works, then we can stick with that but until that day, we can't afford to do the same thing over and over and pray for a different result..

    BTW, what's that called again..?

That would be backwards. The cap hit to cut Sanchez to just sign or start another mediocre QB is definitely not worth it

Nice job, the problem is MT is the reason for our failures, the moves he has made or not have hurt this team and he will scapegoat rex to cover himself.

you want to right the ship - you get a convincing win in St.Louis. That is the only way to at least start the process.

Can't be a got lucky win, and ugly win, a sloppy win - it has to be a sound all phases of the game victory.
