I am looking forward to Ivory shredding his old team. This will be epic. I say we win this in a close battle. Their field goal kicker is inconsistent at best, and it may all come down to a field goal late.
Yep Colston hasn't done all that much, I just picked him off the waiver wire this week just in case. He'd be the one Saint to ride the bench this week although I'm not so sure about Sproles.
Hopefully my Saints will load up the box and force Geno to beat us. Much rather that than Ivory gashing us all day.
The wind is going to be blowing. I hope they do load up the box. Best way to get a break out running play or two. This game is going to be won in the trenches.
That assumes Chris can make it through halftime without injury. He was constantly hurt in N.O. He does look like he's been a little more durable with you guys.
I can't see this one being close,,,,the wind will hurt both teams,,,,,I can see Bree's dumping a bunch of short passes to sproles,,,,,Kenny Stills can have a coming out party as we have no one that can cover him,,,,,Graham, hurt or healthy should pose big problems for us,,,,,,,I just can't see this being close.
have you ever seen the possibility of the Jets winning a game, ever? did you see the Falcon and Patriot games as runaways too? No need to answer, anyone with the energy to read your gloomy posting history knows the answer to these questions
Hey Mitch,,,,,feel free to go reread the Falcon game threads or the Patriot game threads and see what I wrote then come back and add your wonderful insight  On any given Sunday anyone can win that's why they play the games,,,,it is hard to sugar coat this one,,,the Jet def faces a monumental task slowing down the Saints .Being realistic this is not a good spot for us up against Bree's and company.
The wind will be an issue today, actually an ally. I say that we win this one on the ground, and hopefully get some picks to boot.
Well well, as the thread creator, I openly am eating a plate of humble pie right now. And I'm enjoying the taste of it. Fuck yeah! Picked him off twice and he took some hits/sacks. I'm perfectly fine with being proved wrong. I honestly thought today wouldn't go in our favor. But I am certainly glad the game panned out the way it did.
I thought this was a better matchup than the Bengals and being at home it looked like a nice opportunity 8 days ago. After last week I thought we might make a game of it but probably on the losing side. Was great to see the D and Ivory do enough to get the job done.
Rex and company adjust really good to whatever the Saints were doing. Saints put up 6 second half points. Patriots only put 6 second half points if I remember correctly too. Adjustments working?
I'm still surprised that the Refs didn't call the "touching the jersey" penalty on the Jets with every QB pressure.
