I'm not gutless.... I was rooting for the draft pick but in my defense we all knew we would have a new regime in here and a high draft pick would have been beneficial for a new regime. In the game I found it very hard to actually root for the Bills. It's funny my bud who is a Bills fan also wanted the draft pick but when it came down to it he wanted Buffalo to beat our brains in. True fans always show their true colors when the pressure is on.
Go to the pizza parlor & beat up another waitress... you'll feel much better... but make sure you're balls are covered
I didn't really have you in mind, and kudos for admitting it... I'm speaking more of the people that were rooting for the draft pick (and starting threads in favor of it, even) before there were even rumors of Edwards leaving.
Don't get me wrong. I'm not one of the "Blow it for the top pick" kind of guys. Just having a little fun is all.
Nah while I am a fan who says that there is no difference between 7-9 & 2-12 since in the ultimate end you are still a losing team but to give our FO another top 5 draft pick to screw up like they did with D'bust really does add no value to the team.
Maybe this time around they will keep all of our picks and address both sides of the line. This season will not give them the misguided notion that they can trade away all our picks because they think we are two players away from a Championship! On a brighter note it looks like we might have a Qb and a #1Receiver in Cotchery.
jonny how's your nose? Is it bleeding real bad? Did you break it? That must've been painful when your knee just came out of nowhere and hit you in the face. hmy:
I root for my team to win on Any Given Sunday fuck the draft picks. On Sunday afternoons, I just wanna win I cant root against the team. There can be great players in the later rounds, the Pats havent gone downhill because they havent had early draft picks. Fuck that pussy mentality, win.
hahaha alright alright...ive been flamed enough...it was a knee-jerk reaction as someone else pointed out.......I take it back, I take it back.....forgive me......I was soooo fuckin pissed at the way we started that game though.......my wife called me an ass clown
Yes the lines appear to suck, but this conveniently ignores that trading up got them Revis, who already appears to be a top CB, and who could turn into one of the best in the league.
The more I see of Revis, the more comfortable I am with the move they made to get him, but it's still a very painful trade-off when you re-watch how the O-line (as a unit) played most of the game yesterday.
Obviously time will tell with Revis but he has looked very good so far. CB was and is a very real need on this team and if they hit their mark with Revis it's going to be pretty hard to second guess the move. After the D-Rob fiasco though I can hardly blame people for being wary about giving up multiple picks for one player.
