Wtf are you on about? Gannon, Wilson, Ryan, Flacco are not just "system" QB's.

Still an NFL team, on the road, as a rookie. Can't take that game away from him.

But you also can't take away his historic 4 game meltdown or his 3 melt down games this year.

This video is old, so it must be a "myth" lol ..... if it happened long time ago, it must not matter anymore lol .... we only consider what's happening today, bury the past, don't learn from history....ah the fickle modern mind, ignoring the wisdom of the past.....as for Geno, he may not be smart enough to ever develop into a consistent NFL performer, but this video shows that he did show plenty of flashes to go along with the mistakes.

The last four games were Buddha quality. Life really can be an illusion at times, if not at all times. Heh.

No Smith Fan has ever had an answer for why sucking less than before should be seen as quality.

Hold on a second. I never said he didn't show "flashes". In fact, I've said EVERY NFL QB has shown "flashes". I've even given him major kudos for the Atlanta game and he's played some good games in his 2 years..

But those last 4 games last year were the most average mediocre performances ever to be elevated by a fanbase to epic level and as we move further away, they seem to be getting better and better in our collective minds.

No. They were mediocre. They just SEEMED great by comparison because of the incredibly low bar he had set those 4 consecutive meltdown games where he failed to complete even 10 passes.

Stop with the myth about those 4 games.

Btw, the myth perpetuated by those 4 games likely gave Idzik the license to NOT draft Teddy or Carr. The dumb fuck.

Time I've been impressed with Geno.
    • His first start ever in Tampa Bay
    • The 2013 win against Atlanta
    • The 2013 season ending win against Miami
    • 2014 Jets vs. Giants preseason game (I know, lol)
    That's it really.

Sure they are...seriously...Gannon not a system QB?? Gannon was a prototype West Coast guy. Wilson...yeah...tell him to drop back, ONLY, and see what happens. I'm not saying it's a bad thing...I'm just saying Who's to say?

Seems unlikely, he has talent but is way too inconsistent and prone to boneheaded mistakes. We would have to really bring in a great developer of QB talent and also devote next season to further developing him, which won't happen. He's had so many bad performances already that even if he won the job next season, the first bad game he had the fans and media would be screaming for him to be benched. There's just no more patience for him here and he needs a new staff and patience for that ever to become a possibility. Fact is, at this point, fans would rather see us fail next season with the next young QB than fail again with Geno. I wouldn't rule out him one day being a serviceable starter in this league though, just probably with another team

Thanks for that video, I got to learn how fucking irritating Josh Bush is when you put him near a microphone.

I said NO. He's had his chances, took 85% of the snaps in preseason in a sham QB competition. He's cerebrally challenged and you can't fix that.

No.... One thing the jets have demonstrated consistently is the ability to destroy a qb career lol,

The bloom is really coming off that rose in Philly very quickly, and Sanchez had more of a resume and body of work, I doubt anyone picks up Geno even as a backup QB after this disaster of a year.

well, sanchez ia what, 4-2 with his two losses against the packers and seahawks. two of the best teams in nfl. and i'm not saying sanchez is all pro, just a competent nfl qb.

as for the player, geno has a much better arm than sanchez and is a much better athlete. they both are turnover prone.

and it's way, way too early to declare geno's career over. that's silly talk because he has talent and isn't a locker room cancer. he'll be back next year(somewhere in nfl), guaranteed.
