I wouldn't say he's fat but that large lower half isn't helping him in the open field.

He is on the Turd Bowels diet, quarter pounders everyday. Pryor has an ass fatter than Marino.

I'd rather have (a deceased) Richard Pryor than Calvin Pryor in the defense

    I agree...
They are the weak link in the defense.

It seems Pryor is determined to be the next Rodney Harrison. The difference being is that Harrison can cover and hit. Pryor just seems to be freelancing.

You are right, JETS fans sink or swim and when It comes to loses we take that shit bad.

That said, this is a forum..people come here to vent, bitch moan ...
.which Ironically is what you're doing about people bitching an moaning..lol
But for some of us this is fuckin therapy...

That said, it isn't going to always be peachy around here and almost never after losses like the last 2. We deserve a better effort and I would chalk it up to passionate and tired.

Pryor is an in the box safety. It is all he ever was. Lots of teams have them and they fit their D to accommodate them. When I see him hung out in coverage, I think of our defensive coaches.

the safeties you are referring to are still asked to cover people. You can't play safety in the NFL and not cover, this isn't college ball. I'm not even talking about the tough catches Jimmy Graham was makin on him- - that TD where Pryor fell. That's not asking much of a safety at all. Just don't let Seattle's undrafted FA, 6th WR on the depth chart, last option on the play, get behind you. he can't do that?

Also Pryor struggled yesterday in the box anyway. The angle on that short WR screen he took??? awful and cost the team a big gain. That should be his bread and butter - up at the line knockin' down ball carriers when they catch it.

Agree, he's got limited range and is a box safety. The problem is you don't draft those guys to play FS in rd. 1. Just like you don't sign 30+ year old cb's to big contracts, draft 2nd round project qb's, resign journeyman qb's.

Pryor is back to where he was as a rookie. He looks completely lost out there, confused, he plays with no confidence. Last year he was full of confidence, he played with technique, he wrapped up properly, didn't miss tackles, he read the plays, trusted his eyes, the communication was spot on, he looked like a future perennial All Pro in the making. Now it's back to being considered a bust. He needs to get his shit together. He has all the tools and skills to be elite but he needs to put in the work, too. Study offenses, communicate, study the defense more and for fucks sake play with some technique. Don't just run around and throw your body into a people, this isn't the WWE.

Saw someone with the confidence theory this morning in the paper too but I don't think its a lack of confidence. Whenever he makes a tackle he jumps around like he won lottery.... also he's out there jawing all game talking smack like a jackass.

    --

To me he's playing overly aggressive. Taking bad angles to the football and not staying at home in coverage.. like when he was burned for the TD pass yesterday. Just stay where you are and don't let anyone behind you!!!!!!!

Instead he fell for Wilson's eyes on the other side of the field because he can't help himself but want to land a big hit on someone. Wilson turns his head to the other side of the field where Pryor is supposed to be. Whoops you let the guy behind you right where you were supposed to be. good going Pryor. TD Seahawks

  17. He's lost out there...another Idzik special. We could've had Brandon Cooks!

He can't cover, he can't stay disciplined within his assignment, he doesn't get "home" on blitzes & he can't tackle. He's basically completely ineffective.

I agree with that. Probably drafted too high. A useful player, though, properly used. But if he has to cover, give him the slowest bloke in the mix.

I was at a bar and asked for an Idzik special. 30 seconds after I drank it, I passed out and woke up in an vacant lot wearing pink tights and a tutu. My arse hurt a lot too.

bingo! the bills fired their offensive coordinator, and have won two games.

we should have fired a defensive coordinator and/or secondary coach by now.

pryor should be sitting instead of starting. use allen or montez instead. hold guys accountable for blowing assignments.!!!!!
