Well its not working. Its being too cute. Just line up and play. Teams aren't being confused by these exotic looks anymore. Its confusing the shit out of the players, that's why there's always a busted coverage.

Pryor to me is playing without that fire from laSt year. IMO

I can't tell you how many times the camera would be on him after a tackle or near a tackle where he is helping the opposing team up, smacking their ass or helmet after a play. Pussy footing when making tackles over the middle.

Like, Mother fucker, I know you can drill these guys, why are you playing so friendly? Respect for the other team, fuck that, fuck them, take some heads off already.

Hes been acting like a straight bitch lately.

Maybe the conspiracy theories are right and the NFL is rigged like wrestling. Maybe he got the word that it isn't going to be the Jets' turn to have a great season, that the Jets are going to have an up and down season, and when Petty starts next season it will be their turn. ;)

Look it's simple. Pryor is scared to lay the wood, he doesn't know how to hit properly and would be fined many many times. This is fine if he could do something else but he can't. Sure Kelce is a good TE but he is no Gronk Olsen or Reed. Pryor was torn up and is a joke in coverage. He is also the size of a linebacker and does not have the speed to run people down. Might as well start Lee at safety who also looked slow as shit.

I was concerned about the secondary without a proven number 2 on the outside. The LB group aside from Harris is completely new.

This defense is struggling aside from the trenches, something has to change or this is going to be a very dreadful year.

Hmm then the coaching staff should have adjusted the game plan maybe. Dude the chiefs whole game plan for the beginning was running pick plays to get the TE open I am not sure what you were watching but the first 4 or 5 plays to the te was a drag where the other receiver picked the cover man off the te. We played zone and we should not have. Towards the end they lined up man on man and then they gave him no help. They should have went with the fs and ss in high/low coverage against him

Relax..guy just has an opinion like the rest of us... If he's trolling he'll get the boot sooner or later but if you don't like reading his shit, put him on ignore.

Consider this a formal...K, back to bitching..

They had Pryor on an island often. Single coverage with one of the better TE's in the NFL and he was totally outmatched. ftr, Happened to Lee on Sunday also.
I'm not about to give up on Pryor but he should be making more plays than just showing up tackling a guy after the fact..

You are contradicting yourself; we were not playing zone. Picking off the cover man on the drag only works as well as it did if you are playing man. Another telltale sign that we were playing man on those plays was the fact in many cases the TE went in motion and Pryor was following him. Playing zone would have actually been the right adjustment since Pryor could not seem to react quickly enough and avoid the clutter like good cover man does.

  10. Pryor can play cover 1 in the box, he can play cover 3 high & he can play cover 2 high now & again. Other than that..he shouldn't be counted on for as the answer to any passing target match-ups.He's a downhill aggressive player & should only be used as such.Blitz/Box/Robber/high....The guy doesn't have the hips to stay man-up on anyone.

If they want someone to man-up on TE'S...why not Antonio Allen?

I'm not so sure Pryor can play Cover 2 or Cover 3 either, as he's terrible with angles and anticipation in the deep field.

I wouldn't mind giving Allen a shot, and playing some cover 3 especially against Pitt.
limit Pryor to subpackages for now.

no I am not the pick plays I am referring were in the first half. Even the commentators were saying that they would need to change coverage in the second half because of those plays

  14. I agree except for the anticipation part. I think he's very instinctual.Thats part of the problem in a disciplined cover 2/3 scheme...it's a very monotonous but crucial role. He's not that style player. That said he's physically capable of handling that type of role on a very limited basis.

At least this alleviates the thought I had that we should have brought in Allen to cover him.

Wow this is some of the worst safety play I've ever seen in my life. A random free agent off the street couldn't be this bad.
