because the article you quoted clearly states he is coming back after the Saints game and will be available for the Dolphins game. unless you are going to be gripped to the TV waiting for the Saints game to end and expecting Calvin Pace to race onto the field and throw on his helmet looking for someone to hit as every other player form both teams escapes to the locker room. please start a thread next week on the reporter Pace lays out after the game who is just looking for an interview.

Pretty sure vick didn't practice with the eagles the first week cause they didn't activate him. He practiced with them week 2 when Mcnabb went down They realized they needed to get him some reps if Mcnabb wasn't going to be ready to go by week 3. I'm not 100% sure but i know it has something to do with him being on the active roster.
I don't think he can. When Chatman was suspended for the same duration as Pace for the beginning of last season, he wasn't allowed to join team practices until the Monday before the week 5 game.
I believe the rule is that if he was still on the 53 man roster he could practice with the team but he is not. This was the Vick thing. The first week he was not on their roster and not allowed to practice. When McNabb got hurt they added him back to the roster and that is why he was able to practice last week.
