Calvin Pace has "excellent chance" of going to Jets

    I understand we have an assload of cap room especially with d robs imminent departure. I'm not trying to piss 20 million away on Calvin Pace though, especially if the comparisons to Audalius Thomas are true. Thomas underachieved in the Pats system last year.

    That is because Thomas is a highly overrated player. I wanted no part of him signing with the Jets this time last year. Based on what I saw in 2006, Thomas appeared to be good because he had a bevy of better players around him- Ray Lewis, Bart Scott, Ed Reed, etc.
    Pace in 2007 on a mediocre Cardinals team was better than Thomas in 2006 on a 13-3 Ravens team.

    Stop it. Stop the comparisons to Thomas right now.
