Wow..all this love for Callahan, do none of you know the story of how he single-handedly ruined one of the best college programs of all time (Nebraska)? I hope Mangini takes him and buries him along the way. A fuckin donkey could have done a better job with this OL then Callahan did this year.

Callhan, Westhoff, and Tannenbaum are the only people I'd miss. We should pay for him to take everyone else with him.

Why would you possibly miss Tannenbaum? For hiring Mangini? For drafting Gholston? Maybe d'Brick?

Nebraska was bad for the few years before he went there anway. He didn't make things better but it's not like he turned USC into a DIII school.

Tannenbaum didn't hire Mangini and he's done pretty well draft-wise, but GMs aren't solely responsible for evaluating draft talent.

    These are my sentiments exactly.

You can stop listing Brick on there Don. He's never going to create a huge whole for the running game but the guy improved by leaps and bounds in pass protection this season. And he's still young..

I'm not saying he is a total bust. I am saying he's not a #4 pick. You have to consider what somebody is being paid to what they have shown. Everybody will be much happier when the NFL implements a rookie pay scale. Then somebody like Ferguson will get paid peanuts after a few years instead of millions. Gholston would have been flat out cut after this year ended.

Well I'm sure he had had a say in it, but technically Bradway was still GM when Mangini was hired.

You might be right but I am shocked by that. I thought Tannenbaum was named GM before Mangini was hired.

He ruined their defense, thats obvious. But he was hired by the new AD for the purpose of switching the offense to a passing attack. That was obviously going to be a painful transition. By the time he started to get the offense running well he got fired.

dunno why callahan leaving would be good, i dont want him as HC but the OL was great this year. fgranted woody and faneca are a self explainatory in that contribution but Moore is severly underrated hes a very very solid player.

wish hed stay as OL coach but well see new HC prolly cleans house

How long until Mangini starts raiding players ala Parcells. I don't wish him bad,but its better for us if he doesn't get a job.
