The timing could not be better. Plenty of time to get the right GM on board and to help him choose the new coach. I don't even care about next year if it can be used to strip the cap so a surplus is available in '26. The players who need to be kept can be counted on both hands with enough fingers left to smoke a cigar and pick your nose (hello, Joe Walton).
