I think the fins gave us a much needed wake-up call. Stop talkin' crap and just go play your damnedest. When we lost against the Saints; it was very easy to digest why; Sanchez made at least 2 very costly rookie mistakes. The fins game was vastly different. Sanchez and the offense in general played well enough to win the game; the defense definitely gets the ugly finger pointed at them for the loss.

If I see the defense continue poor play against the Bills I will be extremely concerned for the near future of this year.

We should handily beat the Bills; that's it; no sugar coating; we are the better team and we should win and it should not even be close.

I feel way more confident about this game because we are at home. The D in miami just looked demoralized and tired after the FIRST drive. After a 7 and a half minutes of not being able to stop ronnie brown the Jets D just looked like they gave up. With the home crowd cheering I feel our D will be more pumped up and can win this game for us.

Secondly is anyone else tired of Rex letting the other team have the ball first. Scoring first with a powerful defense is extremely important. You dont need to show them you have a great defense by letting them have the ball.

I hope you're right. Every week I feel like we're promised Lito will be back and he ends up missing another game. Plus, we seriously have to get Strickland back. Drew Coleman looked lost against miami.

Really? The BILLS are two ST teams plays away from the same record you guys have, with a terrible O. I'd have to say that the D is the lone bright spot so far for the BILLS this season. They shut down NO for three solid quarters. That was the first time this year anyone slowed Brees down, and that's including the Philly D. If the O figured out a way to stop shitting the bed, who knows? I know they are injured on D, but the no-names they have been plugging in have performed admirably.

With that in mind, I still think you guys should pull it out, but I don't think it'll be as much a blowout as some fans are suggesting. Remember, JP Losman is now in Las Vegas.... lol

The passing D perhaps, but that run defense is absolutely terrible. 29th in the league, and that includes games against the Pats, who rarely run the ball, Bucs, and Browns. You'll have to forgive me if I expect our running game to continue getting on track. We had 138 yards and 4.6 YPC against the Dolphins. That bodes well.

why do people keep saying this?

buffalo doesn't have the offensive line nor the experience in the formation to excel in this.

miami has an excellent line, excellent backs, and a OC that has spent a lot of time tweaking it. Not to mention the amount of experience they have running it in practice and in games.

the only thing that buffalo has of the above is good backs in lynch and jackson. that alone won't get it done

I'll be really worried if someone gets hurt in practice for the Bills and they have to put the gas attendant from the corner Sunoco or the cashier at Walmart in for him.
You know if they replace a Rb he'll rush for 250yds and 3 TD's.

I realize Buffalo is playing like crap , but Ill bet we just bring out the best in them after seeing us get handled on Monday night. This is the way it goes. We face teams year after year with inferior players and personnel and they seem to become possessed and play like their in the super bowl or something. I hope I'm wrong , but fear those same old feelings returning. All I need is a win and Ill be o.k.!

Agreed. If this team plays like they did weeks 1?3 (and def does as it did in week 4), we will decimate Buffalo and Oakland. Both teams are ridiculously bad. The Bills have good RBs, but a piece of shit o-line. Maybe against a worthless defense the bills can rack up yards, but if our defense is the real deal we will shut them down. Edwards has thrown the ball more than 10 yards maybe 2 or 3 times this season, so the passing game won't be a threat. Owens is good after the catch, but can't get separation like he used to. I think the Jets come pissed and fired up for this one after the Miami wake up call. Jets 27, Buffalo 6

As much as I agree that we should win this game, I talked a lot of shit thinking we were gonna tear Miami a new one on Monday and I ended up eating ALL of those words. I'm just gonna keep my mouth shut this time and wait for Sunday...
