That you did. If there is a guy on the Pats who has no room talking about the class of the Jets, it's Branch. He's mouthing off at the sidelines down double digits in the fourth, when he's been shut down all day.
Bruschi is by far, one of the best sports announcers around. I hope to see Bruschi calling games for CBS, Sunday night football, or Monday night football some day soon; his football insight has been second to none. This man was one of the only sports announcers who believed in the Jets style of football heading into the playoffs last year. Before the Colts game, before the Bengals game, before the rematch with the Bengals, before the Chargers playoff game and before the Colts playoff loss... Bruschi couldn't stop talking about our #1 defense, our #1 rushing attack, as well as our strong offensive line. He knew the Jets had a dangerious team, and I'll always respect Bruschi for his insight heading into the playoffs. That article was great. His article about the Jets not playing Jets football last month was just as good heading into our Jets-Patriots playoff game.
You have to think it's from the network, because of their financial partnership with the Pats in "Patriots Place." How that is not a conflict of interest is beyond me.
francessa on his sunday night show completely torches belichick for "awful decision-making" all game long. my question is, for all of this apparently poor decision-making by belichick (deferring to the jets on kickoff, running a 7-minute long sluggish drive in the 4th quarter, etc.), is it possible that rex ryan somehow got under his skin? i'd like to think that rexy scared him enough to throw him off his game.
