It usually takes Safeties a while to get a hung of Rex's system, it looks like it started to click with Pool the last 1/4 of the season. I hope they bring him back next season, but I still want them to draft a safety with big play ability early to groom for this D in the years to come. Pass Rusher still more of a pressing need.
Smith was huge in this game. Props to the CS for putting him in a position to make plays. I was against him starting over Lowery. This is why I'm on my couch in Tulsa and Rex is runnin' shit in at the Jets complex.
Most definitely, E.Smith was a huge factor. Pool made a few plays and looked good but did make a mistake and took the wrong angle on the TD . Other than that both our safties were ballin
I feel his performance has gone really unnoticed on this site. I'm glad he and Smith stepped it up big time.
Aside from the Garcon TD, Pool was awesome yesterday. Loved to see him step it up like that. He was great in run support. New England delenda est.
totally disagree...He had one bad play, otherwise he played very well, not to mention he was the one that got us in great field position with 50 sec left to ice the game.
Smith Pool and Revis were laying MFers out yesterday. It was great. Pool definitely had his best game of the year last night though.
I think Smith led the Jets in tackles vs. the Colts. And Pool made some clutch drive-ending tackles. I hope they bring that focus to Foxboro next week. J! E! T! S! Jets! Jets! Jets!
I am a huge Pool fan. He's huge in the run game. As we all know, his coverage skills are still a little suspect.
