If he continues to give defenders very easy paths to the QB, it's time to start thinking about Aboushi.
Chance Warmack should be there at that spot but we had to waste the 9th pick on Brittle Milliner. Rex sucks, he wanted defense and he got it.
Most Titans fans HATE Warmack, and think he's been an extremely underwhelming bust thus far. Far worse than our view of Milliner.
cooper was also a bust for arizona so far havent played a game since the 2013 draft, Guards arent first round draft positions imo
I'd hate to sign Richie. He deserves another chance to play in the NFL if he agrees to stop it with the behind the scenes tactics he employed with the Fins. But hopefully never with the Jets. But if you want to complain about that $20 mil in free cap space some of it should have been spent on the OL. You can never have too much depth there. That was a big problem that Tanny had over the years. It seems the coaching staff believes in Winters. Or at least thinks he's their best option. But to me watching the games he looks like a minus at that position.
Winters will be fine...I'm quite confident on that. PS.I'm due to be right. I whiffed on Stephen Hill, Ducasse & Jalen Saunders. Winters has his fiar share of plus plays & the negative plays are more scarce than those on here would have you believe. He moves well, is tough & has made strides. I think he'll end up just fine.
The biggest loss to this team the last two years has been the loss of Slausson and Moore. I am glad to see that Mangold and D'Brick are playing better this year. Hopefully Winters improves but regardless I hope we can address the guard position next year. Having the interior of the line consistently collapse does bad things to a young QBs footwork and confidence.
Optimists like you probably consider me a darksider, but I still think Winters will make it. Slauson started out, well, not quite as bad as Winters, but he eventually became average or so. I think there's been improvement.
Man... it's so crazy how one bad lineman can literally bring the whole offense down. Not saying he should be faulted for EVERYTHING... but man he's frustrating, but he's still not Wayne Hunter...
Its time to bench him. If Geno and Milliner can each get benched for their play, he should not be above it. Its gotta be next man up in Aboushi sorry. This Oline has to be shaken up, these 5 are not working together, esp on pass protection.
BFW was entirely responsible for the Chris Johnson fumble - watch the replay. He didnt lay a fucking hand on his man who ran completely around him to strip the ball. We're hopeful with this guy because he was a 3rd round draft pick. But the truth is that this guy wouldnt make half the rosters in the league during final cuts.
I think a few more tattoos may increase his "toughness" look..... further intimidating opposing D-linemen to cower in his presence.... just a little ink shy of dominating toughness....... GET BACK IN THE CHAIR
