    IMO the Jets need a defensive minded head coach (Spag or Ryan). Championships are won with defense.

    worst thread ive ever seen. not to mention the payroll of that coaching staff would be ENORMOUS. all they are BIG NAMES. and names that have lost and one that is untested at the head coach position.

    Yay...Also, we trade for Anthony Becht and Justfuckin McShittings. Bring back our beloved Doug Brien and Tom Tupa. Hand GB a first for Favre cuz he was a great sell.

    I have been pretty busy this week with my kids basketball games and such, but why all of this talk about Marty? I honestly don't remember him being talked about, or seeing his name anywhere on ESPN's bottom line. I think he is the kind of guy that wont try to steal the spotlight from his son anyway.

    how on earth do interviews qualify someone as a head coach? hoow would mart schottenheimer make a good offensive coordinator when he was a defensive coordinator? how could you know herm would be a good dc when he's never been a defensive coordinator before?

    this might just be the dumbest thread ever. and that is no mean feat.

    hear you out? Marrty Schottenheimer was a defensive coach, why the hell would we hire him as an offensive coordinator? while we are at it, maybe we can hire Mike Martz as our defensive coordinator, and then get Bill Cowher to park cars, Mike Shannahan to do the Laundry, and Mike Holmgren to clean the showers.

    As long as we're talking retreads how about Vince Lombardi as HC, Hank Stram as OC and George Halas as the DC. I think the OP is over rating having a pulse as a requirenment.
