Yeah, it wasn't really a clean shot for any of this that we were discussing. He was trying to come across like an analyst, and he was measured in his remarks.

He would have seemed like an amateur if he'd have been all "Let me tell you, guys!! I played with him!"

Dawkins is a fan of Tebow the person and the player.

    Wow.

I'll repeat my question from earlier in this thread that you dodged: Can you even smell the horse shit you are shoveling anymore?

I think you actually believe the bullshit that you weave. It's both sad, and scary.

    Here's the thing...

You are soooooo hopeful that Tebow is successful that you let basic logic fly right out the window. You want Tebow to succeed soooooo badly that you dismiss Hall of Fame DBs non-comments as insincere. You are soooooo desperate for your boy to succeed that you dismiss common sense comments as 'oh, hes just grandstanding for a commentary job'.

Do you have any idea how ridiculous that sounds to sane football fans?

Dawkins was only a Bronco for a few years, but he is an NFL legend. He raped offenses in Philly for a decade. He is a first round HOFer. He is a god amongst men at the safety position. His non-comments speak infinitely more than your pussy-aching ever will.

I don't know whether to laugh at you, or feel bad for you and your ignorance.

Sure, there's a chance, but I don't think he fixed it enough with the two weeks he spent in California with that "QB Guru." Saw some preseason games this year, and he still throws like he did the day he was drafted.

His old Florida coach even said he'd be about a three year project before his passing was NFL ready, and I totally agree from what I watched.

Unfortunately, neither the Broncos nor the Jets seem to be investing a whole lot of time grooming him to be a QB. Seems to be spending what limited time there is in practice time (thanks to CBA,) and limited game time being spent as a running back or special teamer.

Do agree that Rex Ryan will have to play him at QB at some point if Sanchez isn't getting it done.

But yeah, Dawkins is right. If starting Tebow at QB is your goal, it ain't gonna happen with a play here and a play there. Makes me think he's not being taken seriously at that position. I can understand why... they've seen him practice.

We can all have differing opinions on the best or least use for #15, but the current way he is being used we can all agree is dysfunctional for the Jets.

How about dawkin's comments about how tebow played in 4th quarters? is that to be dismissed also? You can not have it both ways Phaytal.

Dawkin's was extremely complimentary of Tebow.

What really is glorious is your Denver Broncos going 2-4 tomorrow night with the great Peyton Manning. 4 losses in 6 games, with the same crappy team Tebow led to an 8-5 record and a playoff win last season, that is why you are here, you silly little man.
