Now get rid of Sanchez and let the new QB regime begin.

From Book of Jets 4:29 "And, lo, he of Wood and Johnson & Johnson commandeth from Florham Park, NJ: 'Be gone Tebow, be gone!'. And so it was." Of course it's not all Tebow's fault. They probably tried to get value for him all weekend at the NFL Draft. The Jets never gave him a chance to develop. Jerks.

At least I did not buy a #15 jersey.

    Good Luck Tim Tebow.

Despite all the media nonsense, Tebow himself never made negative or locker-corrupting comments.

Simms but he will probably go back to the practice squad..that still leavs 4 so it has to be McElroy, Sanchez or Garrard and I doubt it's Garrard.

Jets had granted Tim Tebow permission this off-season to seek a trade. More than one team asked if were willing to play TE, but he was not.

Interesting, wonder if that changes now.

@RichCimini: Earlier in offseason, #Jets gave Tebow's agent permission to seek trade. Multiple tms called, asked if he'd switch pos's. Doesn't want to.

That was nice to allow him to search for a team.

Too bad cause I was hoping he would make the transition to TE for the Jets. He would have been a good player for us in that position.

He's gonna have to go CFL if he wants to be a QB. I think he would have had a long career with the Jets as a TE/HB because he is a high character guy. Shame it didn't work out.

One more QB to go - pack your shit McElway...

    Fixed that for you.

Glad to see they released him. They were destroying any possibility of a career he could have had.

He just wrote his own ticket out of the league. What a tool. I hope he enjoys the end of his football career.

Until another NFL team actually shows interest this thread should be moved to the BS section.

I was just saying this over in the Tebow forum. It was a constant undercurrent that Tebow was a team player. His stubborn refusal to try another position with multiple teams asking puts that myth to bed. Anybody that wants to argue the point this can just look at Lane Johnson. Same story, different ending.

He'll definitely get signed as a QB by camp. There are too many teams running read option to not be interested in him.

I wish him nothing but the best. He was a solid citizen on a team with a coach and OC who lied to him repeatedly, especially Rex, our lame duck, clown HC. And Tebow said nothing playing behind the worst QB in the NFL who gave away games on a weekly basis and made one of the most embarrassing, disgraceful, CIRCUS plays in NFL history.

All the best Tim and God bless you. It's unfortunate that our real circus QB is still going to be the starter heading into OTAs.

part of the de-tannenbaum-ation of the roster
    revis holdout watch- gone
    tebowmania- gone
whats next second round project vlad or butt fumble?

as far as tebow. the player was not worth the hype and was the exact wrong move at the exact wrong time for where this team was. the theory behind it could have worked but not on this team at that time.
    good luck tim
    good riddance tebowmania
