Look how he is holding the ball though, it just takes a hand swat and he fumbles that entire run away.

You know, the Sig guy makes an interesting point.

Chad wouldn't be able to play with Walker....

yes 2. But who gets the respect from armstregnth to allow a big play running game ?

Hey..here's something you might find interesting.

Pennington has passed for more yards. Also ELEVEN LESS interceptions.

But guess what...he only leads by 9 passer rating points....(actually 8.6)...

    Why is that?

Because Favre has 50% more TD passes...21>14.

Take away your bashing of Favre & your intense mancrush on Raitliff based upon for 4Q preseason play, and you'd have nothing posted on this forum.

If you take out all seasons prior to 2008, Brett Favre has never won a Super Bowl and has no proven track record of winning.

Take away our 5 losses and turn them into wins and we would have the opportunity to choke as big as NE did last year.

You know, its not stretch to say in the 13 games that wern't against Arizona favres stats are 15TDs and 17 INTs.

We dont play arizona at home 16 times a year.

Nor do we play Oakland on the road 16 times a year.

I'm just not throwing out a game just because he threw a lot of touchdown passes. I know it was more based on the field position and the defense, but he deserves credit for them.

Give him credit then. This is the same type of crap that makes it look like he is having a pro bowl season.

OK in one game Favre was the best in the league throwing 6 TDs and no picks.

And in the 13 other games he has been below average throwing 15 TDs and 17 picks.

Ya give him credit but dont use the 21 TD stat to make it look like he has been a TD throwing machine week in and week out. It was one win. Demarcus Russel threw 1 TD against us and it was also one win.

look I liked Chad in NY and he is doing good things in miami, but he has the same issues there as he had here - great from the 20 to the 20 and awful in the red zone putting TDs on the board. The phins are the 6th lowest scoring team in the AFC and 10th overall.....they win close games by not making mistakes -- luckily chad has been in domes or warm weather the last few weeks -- KC in December and NJ in December are different and might expose the arm a bit more than Miami weather does

I feel like I'm becoming a broken record here, but ... do you even watch the games? Also, do you watch any other games besides Jets games, so you could at least have some clue about what you are talking about when you say "average"?

Favre has had mediocre and even a couple bad games, acknowledged. But to say he was "below average" in games such as the Tennessee, 2nd Patriots, and first Bills game is ... nuts. Really, I'm just trying to be honest here, it makes you look clueless, and agenda-driven, and stupid, and not worth reading.
