Keller will not only have a breakout year, but he will emerge as one of the top tight ends in football AND the best player on the team. If given a legit chance, I believe Clowney will prove to be a strong contributor. With opponents' inability to run on our defense, Darelle Revis will again have a great year.
Those are both of my initial picks. I think Greene's physical style is going to give a whole new dimension to the running game. Maybe we can rely on it this time instead of abandoning it. I think it says a lot that our RBs coach had a bruiser like Greene as his top RB in the draft. Rhodes... I want to believe he's going to breakout, but I am less sure about it happening this year. If I'm going to call someone a breakout, I may have to choose Lito Sheppard. Teams will still be throwing away from Revis.

Offense: Dustin Keller will emerge as our #2 pass catching option Defense: Lito Sheppard, since we will finally have a guy opposite Revis
If Sanchez is a breakout player this year the Jets are going to run the table on the AFC East over the next few seasons. Yeah, that would be hella fun.
Not really a prediction here, but I'm HOPING it's Sanchez and Gholston...........If those 2 guys have breakout years, It will be fun to watch!!!!!!!!!!
I agree 100% he had a very solid year for us last year. Not that anyone complained about his production. But he certainly was not praised. People talk about Gholston being the Suggs on this defense. I dont think that is going to happen, although it would be nice. I think we will see Pace be that guy - coming off the edge and getting into the low teens in sacks. Also, I really am expecting Kerry Rhodes to reach the next level and to become a household name after this year. We have known here for a while how much potential this guy has, now he has the coach that is going to allow him to unleash it. Not that this will be abreakout year for Jenkins - but reading that article a while back about him saying how excited he was for this years defense must scare the hell out of opponents. He was an incredible force last year and by his own admission he was not allowed to do anything. This year will be his unleashing. On offense. I can only assume Dustin Keller sees the opportunity ahead of him and has been preparing to capitalize on it. He is the only other receiving threat this team has and will likely get a chance to grab 60-70 balls this year - irrespective of who is throwing to him.
