Thanks, I hadn't seen that article. It doesn't surprise me at all that he works so hard considering how far he's come from the raw speed guy in the preseason.

Great breakdown of the plays - I love seeing analysis like this.

I hope we lock Maybin down and our coaching staff can turn him into a three-down linebacker.

We should sign Maybin NOW, before he gets too much success and whats a lot of money or wants to form a big three with Suggs and Ware.

Wow this is great write up. Maybin improves every game which is HUGE and we cant really say the same for many players in the league, let alone this team. He's been really impressive and even shows his improvement as teams start to double team him and chip him. I really hope the organization chooses to keep him here long term.

What's more interesting is who you are - a moderator who joined two months ago and has the grand total of 55 posts? You're presumably an old poster with a new identity, can we have a vBookie event on it?

It's actually MBGreen, working as a triple agent.

Or one of Petro's friends riding the nepotism train to the top, one or the other.

Hmm. I'm pretty sure it's not the former, and the knowledge of the board shown in his posts would make the latter unlikely.

The return of an ex-mod, perhaps?

Great break down on a number of plays showing that Maybin is developing as the season goes on. Rex seems to be scheming to get him into a spot every so often where he'll come free and the O-line not sure where he's coming from.

Wonder how Westerman is feeling given he was id'd as the designated pass rusher jst at the start of the season

    Appreciate the input on this

Outstanding breakdown. I can see you have done some pretty serious research and have great football knowledge. Thanks for the lesson. I am very encouraged about Mabin, I think with a full off season training program ( a la Revis with some weight increase) he could become a powerful force for us. He is motivated and loves the Jets. Hope we sign him before year end

Great thread, alot of work. thanks

Hopefully they can resign him for a reclamation discount...... hope the kid saved his signing bonus $$

If he can develop bigger repetoire of moves and get a little stronger it would great to have that kind of pressure, given the secondary the JETS have

Great job. One thing I really like about Maybin is his actions are speaking louder than his words.

Thank you for this! Really shows how Maybin is improving and making progress to being more than a pure speed rusher.

Terrific write up. It's great to see him being moved around on the line and utilizing more than just a speed rush. His confidence is clearly growing as his role expands. It's hard to imagine we would let him walk when he has shown so much potential.

Looks like Maybin isn't getting as many snaps today.
