Jesse's girlfriend OD's and Walter essentially does nothing. Then, her grief-stricken father, an air-traffic worker, goes back to work too soon and miscalculates. What a phenomenal piece of film-making. This is prime-time TV? Seriously?
first season was better than the second, imho. that doesn't mean i didn't think that both were fantastic. didn't know the new season was around the corner... thanks for hte heads up.
Lol at S1 being better than S2............Anyway Sundays with Breaking Bad and The Pacific is going to be awesome.
Awesome opening scene at that shrine of Santa Muerte. Field killings, brutal. Heh, a tangent (what else?): a good friend of mine, his ex-girlfriend is a Santeria priestess. She got mad at him when the relationship folded and went all voodoo on him, but nothing bad came down because he doesn't buy in. Really interesting stuff, though.
I was able to see the pilot and the second episode during a marathon they had this weekend on AMC. But that was it. Not bad actually. But at this point I have missed so much so no point in trying to keep up years later.
Not really. I watched the entire second seeason over the weekend, but having seen the pilot, and knowing the background, all you are really missing is they got bigger, Walter is on the radar of some really bad dudes, and now he's in a crisis of conscience.
Tonight True Blood and Breaking Bad left me wondering if someone will get killed in the next episode. I doubt they kill Walt though. Too good of a show to just kill the most dynamic character.
