I wanted to get a Braylon jersey so damn bad. Waited all summer for the Jets to resign him so I could order it... they didnt. I ended up getting a Holmes jersey.. and the Jets havent won one game that ive worn it for

You can't over estimate the GREAT chemistry Braylon and Peyton will develop sitting side by side in the trainers room 8 hrs a day. haha jk.

Seriously, I loved the way Braylon blocked on running plays. His blocking was tops in the league and added 20-30 rushing yds per game for us, and at times many more yds.

Not sure how a repaired knee will hold up in the run blocking game though.

    That's also true....but he's still chuckling nonetheless.

    Guys don't giggle.

You know...you talk about "younger guys" and forget that Braylon is still on the Right Side of 30(28 years old) so he can be considered one of those younger guys as well.

Well if we go by what Braylon tweeted, his knee(after much rehabbing) is starting to feel better so maybe by the time Free Agency starts, he'll be ready to go and if Tanny has any ounce of intelligence left, he'll bring him in for a physical and offer him a contract.

I think I saw a few figures (from posters -- so take this with a grain of salt) saying he'd probably get a 1 or so million contract guaranteed with maybe 2 million or so in incentives.

I thought he had a great year for us two years ago. He was a great target for mark and he made some big plays, including dragging two patriots in the end zone of the division playoff game. I am not sure how is knee will be but if the medical staff give him a pass and we get him cheap why wouldn't we. I would want to draft a WR as well in this draft and having both would be a good idea. He is a Jet and I hated letting him go this year.. I say bring him back

Wow.. Now I'm depressed as all hell after watching what used to be our offense.. Damn, they're already the "good old days" and it hasn't even been 2 years yet..

Get rid of Plaxico Burress, he's garbage. Sign Braylon Edwards, He has chemistry with Sanchez and he enjoyed his time here. No matter what anyone says, Edwards is a beast and also brings a leadership and charisma needed in the Jets locker room that we obviously are lacking from players like tone and plax. And with LT looking like he's calling it in and ending his career, we're going to need as much leadership as possible. That's what I think though, I can see Braylon helping Sanchez, esp with a new offense coming next season. It'll take pressure off the run game btw...

If Plax doesn't return getting Braylon is a no-brainer.

I'd actually prefer them both. Plax sucked between the 20's but he was a nice redzone target. They can fight it out over the #17, so long as no guns are involved.

    NICE!!!!!!

If they both came cheap, and Braylon is healthy, I'd be all about that. Use Braylon to spread the field and keep defenses honest, while Plax is a target/decoy in the red zone.

We can get both. Braylons gunna cost 2 million at most. Probaly give him a 3 year 5 million $ contract.

The one thing im worried about is that Plaxico was involved in that locker room rift and was one of the guys who cared about his stats (so he could get a better contract). Braylons got to come back here thats the bottom line. There is no going wrong with him.

Oh yes lets waste money on an injury plagued egomaniac wr w/a record of Duis and criminal assault convictions - brilliant way to improve the team.
