Last time I checked this would be a red flag:

Steelers' Santonio Holmes sidelined by marijuana Charge

Or the 4 game suspension he got because of violating the league drug policy

No, he proved that some players can hide their true nature in order to get what they want. People have been calling Holmes a thug, which I think is incorrect. He's a monumental punk, though. Marvin Harrison could teach street thugs about true thuggery.

This is just proof of someone who does not have a football mind.

Braylon was clutch when he was here. Think back to the 09-10 seasons. 90% of our big plays was because of Braylon. He was awesome when he was here and was our best receiver by FAR.

it was a mistake to let him go and now since he had a down year and a surgery he would come back dirt cheap. He is still very young (28 i believe) and people come back from knee surgeries ALL THE TIME. Sanchez will be jumping for joy if we bring back Bray Bray. I wish Tanny gets this done.

It's nice to hear that Braylon's surgery was successful. I'm not sure if he'll return or not, but if he did it would be nice.

Edwards at a 2.5-3 million dollar contract is a no brainer IMO. He doesn't need to be guaranteed the starting spot, the Jets can still draft a receiver early if somebody worthwhile falls.

Thats good, because were going to sign him at half that, so that makes it an even less brainer.

And im sure it will be ultra incentive based on top of that, with very very little guaranteed.

    @OfficialBraylon
    Braylon Edwards
@Bricktime the jets fans were great to me and I enjoyed playing on Sunday's. Don't agree with how they pursued me in 2011 but i just might

He seems like he definitely wouldn't mind being back in Green and white.

I'd love to see him here.

Braylon is huge upgrade over plax. I was one of the few that preferred him to Holmes. I just feel like he was really starting to click with Sanchez and they were both comfortable with each other. Come home Braylon.

Plax helped the redzone alot, and helped us score more points. The problem tho was we had a ton of 3 and outs, and just couldnt move the ball. I loved Braylon and want him back tho

In all reality a combo of Holmes, Plax, and a HEALTHY Edwards would be pretty damn good if you ask me.....

Why do you think the Jets Red Zone TD proficiency increased so greatly? It was because of Plax catching and being doubled in the red zone.

I'm a troll because I think singing Braylon is stupid? Two knee surgeries and cut by his team for a 3 million dollar deal? Yeah sign me up. How about draft a nice fast tall receiver instead of signing these broke down retreads? Think a little.

If we can get Braylon for 2 million, get Plax back to. If we dont go for Manning we will have a good amount of money to spend elsewhere.

That's something you obviously do little of. [IMG]

I couldn't give a rat's ass what he did in San Fran where he couldn't get into synch with Alex Smith or the offense.....

I only care about what he did when HE WAS A JET, PERIOD.

He was in synch with Mark, made big plays, and had a tremendous year as the Jets ONLY DEEP THREAT. I kind of would like that deep threat back, thank you.

And he can be had for dirt-cheap at this point.

Edwards created a lot of seperation, stretched the field to. I think Sanchez's problem with Burress was that he didnt get much seperation and it lead to picks.
