They'd be dumb not to rest their starters.

They'd have to face Baltimore most likely if they win, who they've beaten twice already.

It's tough enough beating a team twice, let alone 3 times.

Marvin Lewis would be a Jerk not to Bench his starters from this game.... He has nothing to gain from him playing them besides who they face and if he keeps the players in just assume. He gets the banged up then they lose the game anyway and go into the next week facing the same team again thats got to be something on the Psyche... If they want to face the Ravens good luck to them because thats going to be a hard hitting affair

"Would you care to explain by what you mean by product of the system? It a vague term that i'd love to hear you explain,

edit:Booty was a senior any coach would make that call"

He was a product of the pro-style system run at USC. Those quarterbacks that come from those pro offenses never seem to work out do they?

sure but this is also assuming the pats win....crazier things have happened and if they lose the landscape changes drastically. i wouldn't be surprised to see the bengals starters play a good portion of the game contrary to popular logic

speaking of which...the loss of rey headed into the post season will provide us a tremendous advantage....it provides a hole in that defense our running game needs.

IF we win this week I feel very good about beating the grundals the following week

This reminds me a lot of our 2004 team and how we ended up going into San Diego in the playoffs even though we had no business being there according to analysts. We had beaten them earlier in the season, and we had a better team overall, yet we were huge underdogs.

I'm not all that impressed with the Bengels, and I'm not exactly sure why experts are predicting us to win ONLY if they rest their starters. Hell, when we beat them this week we should be picked for the playoff game.

I'm so sick of these "stories."

Fucking sportswriters playing word games with players. Always makes headlines, for some reason. Wake me if a football player guarantees defeat.

Sportswriters are the little douchebags you went to grade school with, always trying to egg on the bigger kids to fight.

"Hey Mike, John is such a dick! I beat you could kick his ass! Doncha think?"

    "Umm, yeah... I guess so..."

"Yo John!!! Mike just said he could kick your ass! FIGHT!! FIGHT!! FIGHT!!"

Pro system meaning professional-like? That seems like it would translate into success. Unlike the spread offenses run at schools like texas tech where the quarterbacks throw 50 some odd touch downs and never get drafted. That seems more of a product of the system no ?

He should have also predicted that he would catch a long TD pass. He misjudged that long ball terribly.

Agreed. That really would have been a punch to the Bungles Balls.

Also, I wonder if the wind in the 2nd quarter got the best of Sanchez a bit when he zipped that ball past Braylon in the end zone... He looked a little surprised with how the wind took it.

The wind in that game was freaky, judging by the way both team's receivers had so much trouble judging trajectory. The only sure thing through the air was Jerricho Cotchery, who has cemented himself as one of my favorite Jets receivers. The guy is simply clutch.

That quick slant he ran where Mark zipped it right into his arms was just a sweet looking play.
