Lol, the point of the reference of the butt fumble, was not he was the cause, obviously Sanchez was dumbass, however , more outside of Jets fans will always associate him with that. Highly doubtful Moore will go in the ring of honor, lol come on
How many players do you know go through the scenario Brandon Moore went through? Undrafted. Converted from the defensive line. He was the best G in football for a while. Not saying he's a HOF player but I think he was pretty important to the Jets franchise on and off the field. 10 years as a Jet.
I'm not arguing Moores skills, I loved his play, however there are a lot of Jets more deserving, Salaam , Jim Sweeney, Kyle Clifton, to name a few
I wish him the very best. Class guy. Solid, unsung player that contributed a lot. The type of player that forms the foundation for a good team. We need many more like him. We can only accommodate 2-3 superstars and one of those better be the QB.
One of the most consistent lineman we have ever had. The guy was an animal on the inside. Very smart, hardworking guy. He's a class act, and has a bright future after football. At 33 he could have still played. He chose to walkaway at a very young age.
I loved Brandon Moore. He was a great player, and did a marvelous job transitioning from the DL to the OL
Exactly- this is why teams have things like a Ring of Honor / "(Insert Team Name Here) Hall of Fame"- for guys who probably won't get recognized by the Pro Football Hall of Fame, but who were still really special and accomplished a lot / overcame a lot. I'm still not really sure why he was let go- he was still very good statistically and wasn't injured that I know of. But anyway, it was good to see him get recognized, and I think he'd definitely be a RoH candidate.
inactives: QB Garrard WR Holmes RB Green G Campbell T Lijana T Aboushi TE Cumberland (FFS!) oops wrong thread :/
