Gilmore is a punk bitch. It looked real bad at first. Especially with him holding this knee. However, once I saw him on the sideline and heading back to the locker room I was really optimistic. He looked ok. Marshall is just a freak and can take stuff like that. I told my buddy I had a feeling he would come back at half time. I put my odds around 30% of a return. I had some hope, it was a weird feeling.

So glad Marahall's okay. Gilmore is asking for a chop block with dirty play like that.

He prolly swelled up afterwards. Still a chance for an MCL or meniscus, but it wasn't a season ender like it looked at first. What a sinking feeling that was. What a great thing to see him go back out there

Nobody was happier than Fitz to have him back He obviously loves Marshall

Bowles said that Marshall is perfectly fine just has a sore knee. Said it on the conference call a couple of minutes ago.

    GREAT news!

10 days to rest it too, should be a non issue by the next game.

actually what is funny is that I watched the game with my Bills fan friend who is a Sports Medicine doctor and he said the exact opposite. I was freakin out: "marshall's done. fuck!" and he was like, I shit you not, "actually his knee bent the way it is supposed to. I think he'll be okay. A sprain maybe. But he if bent the other way it would be bad news....." guy nailed it.

My heart dropped when I not only seen his knee bend awkward, but also when I seen Marshall walking off the field & into the locker room; he was walking like a horse in which was about to collapse to the ground.

I was for sure we were looking at a season ending injury to our most dominant offensive player. Would've been a 1998 Vinny type of disaster.

When I seen Marshall heading back onto our sidelines I had a feeling of relief. When I seen him make his 1st catch after the injury, me and my older brother celebrated with joy.

No way could we have enjoyed last night's win if Marshall wasn't o.k; he's that important. The most dominant WR this Franchise has ever featured.

Agreed, guys. Glad Marshall is okay. Him jogging back out pumped the team up. No doubt about it. Making that catch and yelling at Gilmore was great too. Then post-game talking up Quincy, Jalen, and calling Revis the best CB in the game. A true class act and teammate. Not to mention the best WR the Jets have had in my lifetime.

Great post. This year the Jets can absorb Brandon missing games because of a deep bench. Last year Brandon missing games spelled doom for us. A true joy seeing how this team is being transformed talent wise. Hopefully Jets develop a killer instinct and not wait for things to go wrong.

Although i only believe in 1 God...this is the reason why Anderson and Peak should get 2-4 plays per game.

Anyone notice that when Marshall returned from the locker room to play after he'd twisted his knee, he was no longer wearing the flashy neon green cleats he'd been playing with up until the injury scare and chose instead to change into his traditional Black Under Armour cleats which he then wore for the rest of the game.

Hard to believe any shoes could be worse than those shitty Under Armour cleats.

Really? I wasn't aware they made such inferior quality cleats. What is it that makes them so bad? Materials? Construction? Fit? Even if Marshall is getting good money to use them, I'm pretty surprised that a receiver of his ability (or any skill position player for that matter) who relies more than a little on his footwear to give him all the comfort and support he needs to run, cut and plant with confidence would wear crappy, substandard cleats...
