Rex had it coming. Your team laid an egg in a huge game for the 2nd week in a row. When won't he learn to just let his players and their play speak for themselves? Short sighted fans... We finally have a team that can be in contention every year, thanks to Rex. Rex in the long run will have much more success than Brandon Jacobs - so who gives a crap about what the dude says. Some of you don't like the way Rex goes about his business. That is fine, but the guy is a winner in ways that this team has NEVER seen. You guys act like we are going from riches to rags. why do people keep going on about rex being a braggart and trash talking etc. - is this some kind of media crap that has been repeated so much that people now just accept it as a fact? do people actually watch the press conferences or listen to what Rex actually says? in the one before the giants game he was saying how good Pierre Paul and Tuck were and how diffuclt it would be to contain them, what great throws Eli could make and how the DBs would need to be on the top of their game and how much respect he had for the job Coughlin had done. how do people take this and see Rex as a shit talking fat loudmouth?
Perhaps in between the tenure of Parcells and Rex - this team was garbage. Rex comes in with a rookie QB and the team not only makes the playoffs, but reaches the AFC Champ game, knocking of the Pat's to do so last year. Pretty impressive. This year the jets still have a shot at making the playoffs. It may be a far fetched shot, but it is still a shot. They are in contention in other words. Mangini and Herm Edwards would sell this situation much better to its fanbase, and we as fans would be pumped up at the shot into the playoffs. Rex makes it sound like the worst thing ever has happened. That says something about the guy. At the very least, his standards are measures higher.
Please STFU Brandon Jacobs Its true the Giants won, but the Jets are 8-7 and the Giants are 8-7. Neither team is in the playoffs yet, and neither team is eliminated. I am tired of listening to this fat fuck ramble on about how he wanted to play the Jets because he knew it was an easy win, or that Rex is a fat ass bad coach. This guy can't even get more than 5 carries in a backfield with Bradshaw and Ware.
the giants were one fluke play away from losing that game and played like total shit themselves - i wouldnt be shoting my mouth off after that crappy performance - the only thing that sucked worse than they did was us (sadly)
It was reminiscent of Santonio doing the Terrell Owens Eagles arm flap after his TD last week, except Jacobs' team actually had something to crow about, instead of being down by 2 TDs.. Where were the rest of the Jets when Jacobs got in Ryan's face? How did they let that happen? Were they already in the lockerroom or just didn't have any pride left? There should have been at least 1 Jet player between Ryan and Jacobs ready to throw down. So much for getting Rexy's back. With support like that, who needs enemies.

They didn't earn shit. Their offense was horrendous, and would have had less than 250 yards if it wasn't for that fluke TD. Eli was shit, their running game was complete shit, and their receivers were absolutely horrendous except for the 99 yard pass to Cruz. In reality, they had one big play on offense, but besides that their offense got completely dominated. I will give their defense credit though. They rushed the passer well in the second half, and they shut down our passing game for the most part. They got lucky that Schotty is a dumb fuck and didn't run the ball. They played well in two aspects of the game (pass defense and rushing the passer). They won, a win is a win, but they were shit, and they were lucky to get out of that game with a win. The Jets could have easily won that game, as bad as they played. The Giants shouldn't exactly be proud of how they played or running their mouths, especially Jacobs who is one of the shittiest RB's in the league.

We never trash talk after we win. We always do it before games. Even after the Pats last year in the playoffs, we did not say anything after. Everything controversial was before the game
