+1 Jacobs isn't a tough guy, he just plays one on TV. He goes down so easily that it almost defies logic, considering that he weighs damn near 300 pounds. But every time he gets a 5 yard game, he revs up the trash talking, like he didn't spend most of this year sitting on the bench behind a runningback with a broken foot. The mental image of Jacobs and Santonio Holmes celebrating and trash talking with the Jets down 30 makes me want to hurl. Please keep this dumbass off the team.
I really don't see how he's a good fit for the JETS, unless they really think McKnight is due for a bigger role as a speedster/open space guy, and want another bruiser body. I want to see the JETS with a RB core that complements each other..... thunder & lightning, etc. Watching the 'Skins game last year, I want someone like Helu to complement Greene. Quick, but ran hard.
He averaged 10 carries a game this playoff run, and 15 back in 2007. They used him a little less, but the Giants ran a lot less overall because their offensive line was so bad. So, don't know what your basing the whole 'didn't see the field during the playoffs' on, since they used him in line with how they've always used him. Oh, even though he had fewer carries in '11 vs '07, he had a yard more per carry in '11 then he did in '07. Again, with a worse OLine.
No part of him. Rather a Jason Snelling not some loud mouth who will say something dumb like Rex has in the past
