I proposed we end the discussion, but you guys trying to shit on our defense just to defend your boyfriend Schotty just got too ridiculous not to respond to. Keep fighting that good fight though...maybe you'll get an autographed photo out of it.
Clearly play calling is part of it. Part of it is Mark missing guys open down the field. At the end of the day, that 4 yard inside slant Edwards caught for a TD was the first time we've seen that. Hopefully this is the beginning of Holmes bringing some things to the table (as in the need to run some f**ng slants), and the staff responds... If that happens Sanchez will finish the season above 60% Comp % and over 100% QBR. And we'll be unstoppable.
See I feel like I am watching a different game than others at some times. The slant to Edwards for the TD wasn't even the first slant of that drive.
I don't get the Schottenheimer bashing, our O is the reason we are 8-2. My only complaint w/ the guy is that he calls too many trick plays but that's a minor complaint. overall he calls a good game and he is a good OC. he will be a HC sooner rather than later and I hope people begin to appreciate him for what he has done and is doing. It's not easy developing a QB and he's doing a great job w/ Sanchez.
lol nice one. It's nice to know you went through all that effort just for me. Now go make me a sandwich while your at it.
Oh alright, well I assume by situation you mean near the goal line. That isn't the only thing that creates the situation. If we wanted to say that was the first time they ran a slant when a Cb was standing 3 yards deep in the endzone with the Jets on the goal line we would have see how many other times a defense lined up like that. I don't have the ability to see it but I doubt many other teams have such poor defense that they would leave a slant that blatantly open going into the endzone. Overall your right that the RZ playcalling could use something new because it hasn't been working very well this year.
The first one was funny, but now your reaching. unless your blind hate of Schotty and anyone who doesn't think he is the worst coach ever means they see nothing wrong with him. it's also a little weird that you bottled Schotty's jizz, how long did you need to jack him off to get that much?
I don't think is second guessing, I think it's a discussion on whether he is the OC that can come up with the schemes to beat the elite opponents.
I already said it was funny. It's funny for everyone but even funnier for me because I got under his skin enough to make him go into paint or photoshop and personalize a picture for me.
I thought Schotty called one of his best games of the year last week. I give him an A. If we can start putting 7 on the board when we start at the opponents 40 I'll start dishing out A +
we have the 12th most points in football. Take away a couple bullshit INT calls in the GB game and a bullshit penalty or two in the raven game and we may have 14-20 more points which would put us around 6th in the league. The Schotty bashing is fucking retarded. AND, the offense is improving each week.
Agreed. I would argue that no team has anything close to an elite defense this year though. The closest thing I have seen to dominant this year is da Bears.
That is actually a different conversation than what has been going on here. This thread has been filled with people complaining about Schotty during/after every game.
