No, I think we had a good OC and a promising QB that was devloping. Now we give our young QB a new system and no weapons and expect him and the O to succeed. I wouldn't call it epic and he wasn't the main reason, he was a reason but it was a total team effort.
I hated the Sparano hiring from minute one. To me i rather of kept Shotty for one more year then hire the"LOSER" known as Tony Sparano. Isn't it amazing that these people make 6 figures to do this

Matt Moore didn't seem to look as bad as Sanchez does with the Sporano Offense. Guys he stinks. Let it go. Hopefully we will get to see McElroy at some point this season.
Get ready for an anal pounding then. This team is in shambles and we need a strong showing from the offense to help support the defense. The fact our offense is so poor it is putting far too much pressure on the defense.
I don't know how Sporano can return next year, nevertheless finish this season. if Woody actually cared about this team he would bite the bullet with the contract and get rid of him immediately. the abject failure of the offense is even greater than just Sanchez at this point and the blame has to go to Sporano.
i dont think that will happen but my god if it does... only way its possible is if we turn the ball over 4 times and 2 of them are returned for a td... then again with the cheeseman running the show its entirely possible.

Rex gives off the vibe of extreme loyalty. I still remember him & Tanny smugly talking down to fans & reporters when they expressed frustration with WFH @ RT & Tebow Trade. I'm not happy to say it but I really believe we finish next season with the same OC & starting QB we have right now.

did you watch the last 5 games of the season? sanchez cost us at least 3 by himself and was the biggest problem in the other 2.
Offensive coordinators will always take heat. Jets haven't been great at QB for a while. If you have a good QB, the plays look better. Sparano's offense looks terrible this season, but the talent is also as bad as it's been. It's really just a hot mess across the board. I never liked Schottenheimer that much. I don't like to mess with continuity if it's going well, but Schottenheimer never really led an above average offense here.
This is a good take. Schotty also had 3 different QBs and we never had an identity. Him and Rex conflicted according to reports now.
I was happy Schotty was fired until I learned who his replacement was. It was obvious him and Rex were not on the same page. In typical Jets fashion they somehow made the situation even worse.
