I was happy with the first half. Chad looked ok, ther was some nice passes from him and he seemed to have a fair amount of time as well which was good considering the rookies. We moved the ball fairly well but just as we was looking to score the oline gave up a massive hole and chad got hit for a fumble.

Clemens came in and played with some poise and maturity. He picked his passes well and seemed to chose the right option every time. I was very impressed with him in that little drive. True it was against the Bucs 2nd stringers but he stilll played well.

3-3 at the half and we had been the better team even though the score had not shown it.

But the second half has been a disaster, the have run it up the gut with no sign of it being stopped and the opened out on us with passes. The O cant get the ball going on the ground at all and our depth looks terrible. If I could forget the 2nd half then maybe it was pretty decent but out depth scares me.

Now listening on 1050 streaming. Wischusen says 3-3 at half, jets had dominated time of possession, 17 mins to 12, jets ran 38 plays vs. 23. Jets had 144 yards, bucs 97. Turnover inside 10 by Pennington, TB then marched to score. Clemens ran mature posession in 2-minute. 110 of 170 TB rushing yards in second half. Pennington unscathed at 9-14 , engineering two long drives but no scores.

Did you watch the Game? Penny did fine. Short passes, Got clobbered,Scrambled Head 1st on a busted play.

He got up from all of it and looked fine.

They both looked OK for a pre-season game , but out of the 2 I think Clem looked more settled , but this is pre-season win lose or draw it doesn't matter.

It's Clemens. Seriously, I didn't think his name was so hard to spell.

You're right. I didn't want to imply that Clemens looked bad. He looked pretty damn good to me.

Pennington and Clemens played well (clemens looked better though, IMO). Ramsey looked awful in the short time he played.

My guess for the next games QB Rotation:

    1) Ramsey
    2) Clemens
    3) Bollinger
    4) Pennington

I think Bollinger will get a shot before Ramsey gets another. Penny will probably get the first team snaps though. Why would they chance him behind the late-string OL?

Clemens was the highlite of the game IMO.....RAMSEY should be cut.....just worthless.

    NamathDays...exhibition

I just have to say..... it was an EXHIBITION GAME!....looked like Mangini got a buncha good looks(is it telling that ramsey didnt get to play, huh?) at players and situations...our young cubs were no match for their slightly more experienced and organized team in second half...but we kept it to 3-3 in first half,,,,all told, Pennington look just like Pennington...accurate and smart...would have scored without the o-line breakdown....Clemens should great promise ....second and third string defense was sh*tty and Mangini used the clock and situations to test the mettle of his crew,,,but lets admit and let the delusional allow a brief glimpse of reality.....this is hardly a 10 win team(ok..im the newguy...but its how we all started)

spot on. The guys been through hell (us too) and he took his series well.

Out of the QB crop we have I'm afraid if I HAD to let one go it would be Ramsey. But I believe that after last years disaster we will carry all 4.
