this second half has really glossed the game over. End of the first and we was looking ok and certainly could have been up at the end of the half. But this 2nad half has really shown how weak our depth is. The D is looking awful this half.
someone give an objective take on the game tonight. Did Mangini seem to have a clue. Did it seem like the team was prepared.
Gradkowski was really good at Toledo. He is a legit player and tough like a linebacker. Probably not as good a QB all around as Clemens, but he'd certainly win a roster spot over Bolly. Our D looks bad but I know they are backups. Tui Alailefaluela made 3 tackles and he is a monster. I plan to watch tomorrow morning to see if he got handles by blockers. If not, we may have ourselves a 3-4 run stuffer.
The team definitely looked prepared. They were very conservative with Chad, but moved the ball. He took his hit, so got that over with. Some protection issues . . . but the rookies looked okay. Miller looked solid on D, but having D backs make tackles is a worry. The D line looked a bit overmatched by the run, but not too bad. Depth is the big issue, on both lines.
