I think he has the best Jet soruces and I am into an article he writes and bamm out of nowhere comes this negative slant/statement that so... I don't know, it sounds like a spoiled brat had his mitt taken from him and now he's pissed at his parents. It just ruins the whole thing and he always has a dig in his article, always so I stopped buying the paper years ago. That and Fred Wilpon's bitch, Mike " The Met" Lupica. As far as Rhodes, who knows what happended, as usual the paper jumps on something without double checking but Rhodes might not be 100% innocent either. The point is, Cimini is a douche bag!!!
For me, my only issue here is with a newspaper writing a story that is so blatantly false (based on the prosecutor's statement), and clearly having no evidence to back it up. I know this happens a lot, but it drives me nuts since they do not take into account the effects an accusation like that can have. As for Rhodes' involvement in anything that happened, I'm just going to hope the prosecutor/investigation gets it right, whatever that means. I'm not assuming guilt or innocence for anyone in this, but I just wish the media would focus more on investigating and reporting the facts than they do on getting the big headline, truth be damned.
This story is different then the usual BS they lay out there. Like if Cimini were to say that undisclosed sources close to the talks say that Washington and the Jets are close to a deal, when in reality he has no info. No one is hurt. In this case a lot of casual fans are going to see that story, and not really follow up on the rest of the story, and that will stay in there minds for a long time. This kind of thing really stains a players rep. Particularly a guy like Rhodes who is also trying to establish himself as a personality for after football. I of course don't know what happened in that house, but the prosecutor doesn't seem to think that whatever happened, Rhodes had a hand in it. The least they can do is an apology for poor reporting. Not just edit the posts they put on the net and play like they were on top of the story all along.
Actually, I was in the Marines with a guy that works for the LA Times. They read these emails, it might not be the editor, but it will be read. They don't junk emails if they come in groups. If you were to send one flaming email about a random subject, they will junk it. However, if 50 people send vulgar emails about one subject, it will get attended too. When he worked for the editorial department, he had this exact position. I used to hear about, and get forwarded quite a few 'good' emails . How do you know she was drunk and how do YOU know that she was raped? How do you know she wasn't going to Rhodes with a clear mind and the intent to have sex? I'm not saying it is or isn't either way, but how can you make such a definitive statement?

IF this assumption is true combined with the facts above, then AT LEAST rhodes needs a better class of homies to run with. rhodes can never been seen as totally, 100% innocent.

I don't really get where you're going with this post, but by your reasoning: 1) Ray Lewis should have been in prison a loooooong time ago. 2) The Duke lacrosse kids should be receiving, not taking, in a prison as I write this. 3) Jonathon Vilma should be awaiting trial upstate for the 2 murders that occurred in his home. 4) Need I go on...... You're basically throwing him under the bus before any of the facts are even out there. I mean, were you the third "homeboy" (as you so eloquently put it)??? Did you see what happened?? Last time I checked, Kobe Bryant scored 22 points last night, he didn't make 22 license plates in a Colorado jail. And there was an actual case against the guy!!
