The only one even remotely interested in this is Hodgins. As of now he's the starting FB for the Jets. And you know what that means ... an eventual big FA payday from the Bucs.

    Askew ... Give a Frack.

In all fairness Sowell was a good player.

I wonder how much power Paul Hackett has down in Tampa?I do honestly believe that BJ Askew could be a better pass catching full back than Sowell.

Sowell was the next best thing after richie anderson left. As for Bj watch then at least line him up at runningback and give him a shot

and every Jet they take never does a thing. Becht has been horrible and drops passes. Sowell and Jolly never saw the field.

It is like they just want to stack their bench with sucky Jet castoffs.

Bring back the SOOOOOWWWEEEEEELLLLL Train! I thought he was all pro caliber when he was with us (and so did many analysts) he was good receiving out of the backfield and was a good lead blocker. I think he could definitely help our running game.

After hearing Askew has gone to Tampa Bay, SOWELLisGOD must feel there is hope for Jerald to come back.

Askew didn't do much when he was here. Well, that was because we didn't use the FB in our offensive plays very much, so it's understandable. I'm not too sure who the Jets might get though. I hope someone with speed, and can block. It wouldn't hurt if they can catch the ball too.

Funny Tampa is full of transplanted, retired New Yorkers in general. Then you add all our retreads and the old timers probably feel like they haven't missed a beat.

The bucs sure like to pickup cut jets. I would also welcome Sowell back in a second.
