You have a lot of faith in him, and I hope you're right, but his window of opportunity is closing.

I don't remember that about Ben, but there is a big difference Ben was good.. This isn't about off the field bullshit, plenty of bad guys that do bad things but are still liked and respected. I just think genes not a guy they care about. I could be wrong but this situation to me is telling. He's your qb and no one cars he was beat up.. Something wrong with that.

How do we really know no one cares? All I've heard it was both there faults or they wasn't there when it happen. Also have one person who won't put his name to it and Marshall says that Geno did nothing wrong. What do we believe? Myself I'm going to believe someone who puts there name on it.

Even if Geno went guido with the 'skins' look, I still see it as the ass is half full. It's not like he dropped trow a la Sancho.

Me thinks Geno's read some of the post-scuffle "Geno's fault" backlash and his insecurities have him feeling left out or "disenSanchized" (a la uncjunc) and that's why he was "dressing up" and playing the part by playing catch (and with those rediculous face stickers on). Well, at lease the numbskull was wearing Jet-green shorts.

Revis put his name on it too.. He's not saying geno is innocent. I'm sure if geno was a good player the reaction may be different, it is important your qb is respected and it clearly gives off the appearance he isn't. That does matter when leading people. Geno has all the physical tools to be great mentally it seems as if there all lacking. That's my point.

They said they wouldn't hang out with him? Did you just make that up? His team had his back, the organization had his back and the Rooneys are as classy as it gets in football. And you can see why they stuck with him. Look, even if this was true, I don't get your comparison. Even if they all did call Ben a shithead, a turd, an asshole, it was justified. Nobody would just say that for no reason, especially about somebody who was so good and successful early on as a QB. So you're saying Geno is in the same spot now, that it is justified to call him a fucking putz for making bad decisions. Nobody said he can't turn it around. As for you saying that people judge him based on his performance on the field and not for his personality and the stuff he does off the field, that's BS. At least for me it's BS. The only thing I DON'T like about him, the one thing I can't stand about him is persona, what he does off the field. Before the IK incident I was praising him throughout camp, I defended him everytime somebody tried to put a negative spin on anything he did on the field. So that has really nothing to do with why I said what I said, why I really dislike him as a person right now. I like him as a player, I think I'm one of the few ones that still thinks he can be our franchise QB. The rest about him I dislike. Will he change? Who knows.

You want to make a case that smith is some victim and you see the lack of true support as overblown. Ok, I'm just giving you my opinion and I think it's a huge deal.. Who knows, time will tell I guess

The two things are not related. If it's wrong for Geno to go outside without a shirt, then it should be wrong for Joe Willie to have done it too. Anything else is hypocritical. The bottom line is that there's nothing wrong with either of them being outside without a shirt. Ballhawk just has some weird fixation or obsession with Geno and nudity. I'll let his shrink figure that one out.

I'm not making anybody anything. I just want to hear from someone who saw it. I also said if Geno did put his fingers in IK face I don't blame him for punching him and yes it on Geno.

I'm looking much deeper into it than that.. Right or wrong no one deserves to get there face broken. Lol up until the jets probably asked guys to speak up for geno, there silence on the matter spoke volumes to me.. Just my take on it. That's all

I did. I wasn't accusing you of making that up I just said I didn't remember. I'll say this I think it's easier if you an ego maniac and prove you can play on a high level so more is forgiven. Smith hasn't proved that yet, so all his missteps are gonna be scrutinized. I'm absolute disappointed in smith on and off the field, but I also do believe the media here is ruthless and ruins players. If you don't show Peyton manning type of promise on and off the field immediately your a piece of shit. Lol. I think it's so hard for you g players to develop in ny with the constant scrutiny.

I couldn't believe it when I heard the media bashing Geno for practicing after his surgery. If it was anyone else playing for any other team they'd call him a warrior.

I agree but I was just showing a QB can get respect back of the locker room if he lost it. As for his play we both know he hasn't had much to work with. Not near like Pittsburgh had. I just want to see what Geno can do with talent with him and a few years under his belt. If he doesn't show he can do it I'll be the first to say he got to go.
