I just want his inner linebacker to come out and see him crush somebody on punt coverage.

not for nothing, but for all the talk of the bills prepping for the wild cat, the jets need to prepare for it as well, so it will level out at the end of the day.

When other teams tried to install versions of the Wildcat, they quickly discovered it was crucial to throw out of the formation.

    Tell it to Tebow...

Anyway, it's gonna be interesting to see what kind of "tricks" we have up our sleeves and what kind of yardage we can produce.

Face it fellas, we need to play to the strength of our personnel...and if the wildcat serves that purpose, so be it. It might make the Holmes & Hill a bit more effective.

One thing's fer sure....it sure is good for making headlines....right Woody?

Because we play our toughest WC opponent of the year game one, Rex didn't want to tip his hat AT ALL in pre-season as to what type of WC we plan to use with Tebow.

Will it be the original Miami WC?

Will it be the option style plays Tebow ran at Denver?

Will it be some crazy hybrid?

I think Rex should have run some Tebow WC in pre-season that is the OPPOSITE of what he has planned for Buffalo! Should of had Tebow run 3 or 4 Miami style WC plays in pre-season only to come out and run a totally different crazy hybrid WC in game 1 that completely ruins the Bills day.

Maybe not. Brad Smith is injured and could miss the game. That would be huge. We'll see.

I can see this happening, instead of shifting into an alternate formation more than once or twice, using Tebow mainly as an H-back when they do use him, to completely screw the personnel packages the Bills call in.

Brad Smith didn't do much at all in the Wildcat last season.

His biggest play of the year was that fluke tipped TD on Cromartie in the second match-up between the teams last season.

That's what makes this funny. David Lee brought the wildcat to Miami under Sparano so he thinks he knows everything the Jets will try. Obviously the Jets know Lee is there so they probably won't run a single formation they did in Miami. Hell, they may not run it at all in the conventional sense although I am sure Tebow will see some playing time. And if the Jets get an early lead and hold on to it you may not see Tebow on the field at all unless it's in a mopup role to keep his fans excited. People talk and talk and talk about the wildcat but they never once mention what happens if the Jets are winning and with our defense I would think that is an excellent probability.

Who would return kicks for the Bills? Spiller or Nelson?

If we have a sizeable lead I still think we use the wildcat. The game is to run out some clock at that point and keep the other offense off the field. I don't expect any real big touchdown plays from the wildcat but I do expect them to pick up first downs and keep the clock moving.

Yeah, maybe that but why give away what you have when you can hide it for another week? I can see some vanilla plays just to throw more people off.

I'm not a fan of telling any team what to prepare for or not prepare for. It's just my opinion, but I wouldn't have even said the word "Wildcat" or anything else concerning Tebow. Concerning the Wildcat or anything Tebow related, Rex should just shut up.

Nelson has never returned a kick or punt.

Although I've seen everyone from Brad Smith, Spiller, McKelvin, Rogers and a few others, I think Justin Rogers (if healthy) is our primary kick returner.

Gotcha. Nelson is at least fast so I thought with Smith out they'd give him a go.
